  3. Shekhar ji, we are not asking for subsidies Petrol or Diesel. We are asking for less tax on petroleum. Modi government has increased 30+ rs when crude oil prices were 25-30$. At that time, Arun Jaitley and other ministers told us that they were creating a buffer and when price increases, people will not suffer. But the Modi government has done completely the opposite and that was the problem.

Shekhar ji, In one of the CTC, your argument about Pakistan and Imran Khan was something like -If he wins democratically elected leader will become stronger in Pakistan but it will kind of destroy Pakistan. Should we always go ahead with purity of process and say that may whatever come, Free and Fare elections are the must. In India, we will always want that and it is largely free and fare. But what for other countries where one party is friendly to us and another is against us?

I didn't think highly about Rahul Gandhi and never thought he was serious enough for politics.   25. We are not a big world power and except for a few Indians(who are high on something) we all know this. However, if we cannot have influence in our neighborhood, we will not be even a regional power. How can RAW not help Shekh Haseena, prior to the start of these protests? The USA was making things hard for Shekh Haseena and from that we can be sure that the CIA with ISI was behind this. It is an utter failure of RAW. And the Indian government, by putting all its eggs in one basket, didn't have any alternate game to play. Don't know what our Foreign ministry and RAW were doing.

  29. Shekhar ji, I understand that your argument is about development of Bihar and better alternate political idea than caste census to win the election. They obviously need something more. Caste census will be like Tadaka and not the entire daal. Overdose of Tadaka will kill the dish. All things said and done, why der was almost noone (except 1 oe 2 voices) raised der voice, written editorials and have panel discussion on that. The Print and The Indian Express has covered it but if you see how SC, Media, so called intellectuals, supporters of Talent, Online trolls etc have reacted to this EWS( Read Sawaran Reservation)? Our SC, which used to talk about 50% limit, Conducting surveys that any caste is backward or not. We have seen that in case of Jaat Reservation and Maratha reservation. However EWS is provided without any of this.

  31.  @surajs5913  First of all, everyone has der own limits. So I don't think Shekhar is any exception. Also, I believe that one should not be a fan of any politician and any journalist. But we should appreciate it when someone does a good job. Just for your Info, for me,the best part of watching, reading Shekhar Gupta is that I disagree with him on majority of economic and political points. And bcz I disagree with him, it gives me extra dimensions to look into. Thanks for your response.

  32. BJP doesn't matter in Tamilnadu. We don't see any communication with any other party state leaders like this, unless der is an election. BJP is given too much footage everywhere and I understand that they are ruling party. But in Tamilnadu, they can't get one seat on der own and der state party chief gets so much needless attention.

  35. But did we realise it? If you ask common Indians, we still like Indira Government work during emergencies or we like the autocratic rule of Modi ji. Even on state level, we like Vijayan, Stalin, Yogi, Kejariwal, Jagan, etc in comparison with Shivraj, Siddaramaiyaah, etc who are more democratic in der approach.

For BCCI, allocation was changed, hybrid model।is adapted. I think it would be way easier to not allocate a tournament to Pakistan than doing this drama every time.

  42. Shekhar ji, from 2005 to 2011, der was no big protest and demand for OPS. IT was buzzing, the private sector was growing and people were trying to go get jobs in the private sector for better salary. Less GDP growth -> More Demands of Goverment Jobs, OPS, etc. It seems to me that our GDP growth is going down consistently and jobs are becoming increasingly scarce. Hence all these political parties are raising the demand of OPS.

Now we can see what Baghdad has become. India was trying to become a modern country since independence and now we are always looking into past for almost everything.   45. Good point. If a religion based organisation is created, it is destined to fail. By the way, what do you think about conversion happening from Hindu to Christianity? Why is it happening? I know few false ways used by missionaries (like money, drowning Hanuman ji stone idol and saying it is not powerful and then doing the same with Cross made of wood, etc). But this cannot be the whole reason and if you see Hindus don't have any such body or at least one body which can fail them. So why is it happening?

  46. According to me, The bad marriage started when the Modi government gave 1.5 Lakh crores tax benefits per year to corporate India. And that was a bad decision by Modi government when demand was less. This money should have been given to people which could have raised demands and even big companies could have got more demands and more revenue.
