  8. Try converting one of the morons and see how you go. After a few minutes of interaction you'll feel your hands reaching for their throat. Try to patiently explain something obvious like curvature or the setting of the sun and you soon realize that flattards are not addressing the issue as they should. You would probably be introducing phenomena such as how ships disappear over the horizon but you notice that you have lost your audience because they simply deny what you say (even in the face of supporting, good quality vids), and start introducing nonsense such as "perspective", "the limits of eyesight" and "you can bring the ship back with a telescope". Eventually you have to disconnect because you realize that the flattard is not dealing with a full deck and, not only do they not know it of themselves, they also seem hell bent on telling you just how wrong you are. You might even get to be told you are a shill or a NASA fanboy. If you have the stamina, try your luck with a few more of these priceless creatures. Then, reflect on your post above.

It takes 24 hours to complete one rotation. At the equator it is doing about 1,600 km/h. It is neither accelerating nor decelerating. Did you expect to feel movement? By the way, nowhere on the planet is it traveling at 66,600 mph during rotation. Who told you that?
