@boterlettersukkel If only those flattard morons could read and understand that instead of persisting with their senseless belief that they can see Chicago from the ground up when looking across Lake Michigan from places like New Buffalo and Bridgman.
2
@glennrobards585 Go play with the kiddies on some other chan, troll.
2
@ktfjulien And his brainless reply will be something like "Show me your personal video of the Earth rotating." He can answer nothing sensibly. There's a good chance that he's just trolling to see how many people he can crank up. I've seen it elsewhere.
2
The irony is entirely lost on them.
2
As Foghorn Leghorn said, "Sharp as a bowling ball."
2
If only they would stay in their echo chambers instead of polluting decent vids with their crap.
2
@olidriver4325 Good one, just keep denying the science and you might get to share a ventilator with Trump.
1
And you expect flattards to be at all interested in this?
1
@Faith_Obedience And you have zip evidence for any of that tripe. Go learn some basic physics before embarrassing yourself.
1
@Zripas This has been explained to countless flattards and not one of them seems to have been educated by it. Maybe if you changed your name to Eric Dubay...
1
The mythical flat Earth starts and ends with the Big Ice Wall holding in the fantasy flat oceans. No big ice wall, no flat Earth. Zip evidence for said ice wall - rumors and fabricated "evidence" don't count. None of those FE shitvids that claim (baselessly) the Earth not to be a globe also inadmissible as they provide zip evidence FOR a flat Earth. Conclusion: no flat Earth. Simple, really. But not as simple as those poor folk who live down the FE rabbit hole.
1
@johnny50424 You really don't understand this evidence thing, do you? If you want to believe that your fantasy flat Earth exists you have to provide solid evidence FOR it. Just trying to poke holes in established science won't do it for you, dummy, or do you also not understand that? For a start, how about you go find solid evidence for the existence of your Big Ice Wall holding in your fantasy flat oceans. No flat Earth without it. And when you have found this evidence, come back here and show us all, but if you can't find any, how about just not coming back and polluting this chan with your incessant lunacy.
1
@Zripas At least he's in human company, albeit not of recent origin. Flattards with their torch analogy are not even from here. They must be from some other planet.
1
@saming2998 Maybe. What seems clear is that she considers the irrational belief in a flat Earth to be an "opinion" equivalent to understanding that our planet is an oblate spheroid. That there is zip evidence for the former and overwhelming evidence for the latter tells you a fair bit about someone prepared to accept the two to be equivalent. You don't need to be a flattard to be that way, but being really stupid is a step in the right direction.
1
@ericb3157 Sorry, but he's no flattard. Lose the ad hom and stick with the request for evidence.
1
@dirkardostevergreen4827 I wouldn't bet on an epiphany for that one.
1
Well, for starters there's no "they" and there's also no "wall". Problem disappears.
1
@yestervue4697 OK, if your Earth is flat, what holds in your flat oceans? A Big Ice Wall, right? So, where is your evidence for its existence? You wouldn't believe it's there on the sayso of someone on YT would you? Of course not, so let's see your evidence. Or fuck off.
1
I Coroa This is a spinoff from The Hithhikers Guide to the Galaxy, is it not? In those hallowed pages you'll find Wonko the Sane who inhabits an inside-out house overlooking the Pacific. If you believe that you live inside a sphere, or on a flat Earth, you're in good company. Antipsychotics anyone?
1
@razor8352 Uck foff.
1
Didn't work out so well for the US.
1
We'd rattle and roll.
1
Just keep them away from our kids. Teachers have enough on their plates without having to contend with flattards, space/moon landing deniers, 9/11 conspiritards, antivaxxers, creationists, Karens and other nutters.
1
@BobMossNanoTanks When he looks at the flattard asking that question, he's looking in a mirror.
1
Great idea. We'll put you out there to keep an eye on it.
1
Well put, Cholmondeley.
1
Ban Ki-Moon? Why him?
1
Maybe that's all the life of a flattard consists of, adhering to a lie that brings other flattards into some sort of group fellowship. If you thought that a Thursday Bingo group was bad enough, try this shower.
1
I'd like to go and ask them in person, but Elon's charging a bit too much to get me there.
1
@paperblackwriter Best not to enrich these charlatans by commenting on their FE vids. Plenty of flattard dimwits to find on debunking vids.
1
...but no working brain to process the information adequately. And the flattard goggles defo do not help.
1
@philaypeephilippotter6532 They seem to have mostly moved away from that insanity to an equally insane idea utilizing buoyancy and density. They still can't explain why things don't fall up in their fantasy, given that the density of the atmosphere gets less as you ascend. Nor do they seem to give a shit.
1
@philaypeephilippotter6532 Well, consistently shit information, that is a given. Moving from one shit version of their fantasy to yet another, equally fantasy version, surprises me not at all.
1
@flatearth9140 Whenever you post, you show us proof of your inability to contribute anything of relevance or value. Go play on the freeway.
1
@happykittycat-1 I guess if you're dumb enough to believe that the Earth is flat, with zip evidence for it, then that's OK. The rest of us have all the evidence required to demonstrate that the Earth is, in fact, a globe. Where's YOUR evidence?
1
@Tommy V Plenty Christians out there who have the intellect to understand that their everyday lives use and benefit from science. They use the bible for other reasons. The only bible believers who choose to reject science (except to use all the technology that derives from it, of course) are the dummies who think there's some sort of competition, and/or that scientists are trying to take their God away from them.
1
Confused much?
1
Certainly not as logical as pronouncing an "r" in "colonel" when there isn't one. How long would you like to keep this up?
1
@philaypeephilippotter6532 "Gook" is a derogatory term for a person of Asian descent. Now, what are you suggesting?
1
Somewhat closer to "sher". Depending on origin and education of speaker.
1
But stay with reality. Fantasy explanations for things like the shape of the Earth will only get you laughed at and avoided.
1
@coryjane4442 I do wish that conspiritards wouldn't reify science as a living being with malevolent intent. Sure, there are people who do use the products of science to further malevolent agendas, but to indict science per se is patently absurd.
1
@Zripas You'll never convince flattards with those simple observations. They simply deny them. You don't share a common frame of reference.
1
@jwebstersmithii7459 Oh dear, another illiterate who believes that a theory in science is just a guess. Maybe you'd like to try educating Wolfie6020 (another commercial pilot) in the comments section of one of his vids. He could do with a better way of calculating international flight plans.
1
@jwebstersmithii7459 Careful, your paranoia is showing through the thin veneer of civilization. And no, he's a very competent navigator who can help you to understand how international air travel on this planet works. Or not, if you're not interested.
1
@jwebstersmithii7459 Sorry, your paranoia and your penchant for invention are too much for any sort of sane conversation. Bye.
1
Might have been a useful bouncer.
1
Small problem with the assumed inquiring mind - flattards proceed from baseless conclusions backwards to imagined supportive evidence, including the denial of the bloody obvious. Deluded? Definitely. Science based investigations, accepting whatever comes from those investigations - not in evidence thus far. Check out Bob Knodel's discovery of Earth's 15 degrees of drift per hour with his ring laser gyro. He refuses to accept what HIS very expensive and accurate instrument told him. Delusion? He has it in spades, or at least his disciples do.
1
@Unprepared ToDie I'm curious - do you actually believe any of that FE shite or are you just trolling?
1
Are they all married?
