  13.  @Zripas  He may be suggesting that flattards are just one subgroup of people who have been led to a set of irrational beliefs by someone who has captured their attention first by cashing in on their belief that they have been, inter alia, lied to all their lives by "the government", and other authority or influential bodies, real or apparent. Having zero math/science skills merely makes the capture that much easier as, in this case, they are offered a means of "levelling" the ground by giving them pseudoarguments that are claimed to be superior. Vids by those claiming conspiracies surrounding other highly visible topics such as 9/11, COVID denial, antivaxx, moon landing denial, etc, show similar results. Adducing solid evidence against, or requesting same in support, have no impact on the converted. You can't remove with evidence that which was put there by faith.

THAT is a critical part of the evidence set that is missing, without which all so-called experiments and associated measurement are meaningless. If you are really a scientist, why didn't you start there? Lit review. Did you not do this?

That there is the big difference - flattards can't, or won't bother to, seek knowledge of simple characteristics of their own planet. Problems for FE such as sunsets, the horizon, the seasons and eclipses appear not to cause them the slightest discomfort as they have been fed shite to regurgitate when tasked - if they respond at all. No wonder they are derided and mocked.

  45. Amusingly, some flattards claim to have spoken with commercial pilots who say they never take the Earth's curvature into account when plotting a route. They also claim to have spoken with or seen astronauts "confess" that the Earth is flat, and that we never went to the moon. What they seem reluctant to claim is that they are patently bloody morons. Such a sensible and patently obvious admission could save us all a lot of time demonstrating same.
