Try to be proactive, make a note of change of something like hair, and when it appears to be freshly permed (or whatever change seems for the better) just casually mention that it looks nice today. Or, if earrings are different today, say that they look nice and suit her <insert dress, hair, skin color, etc>. You can't go wrong, especially as, being a pilot, your color vision is normal and you can't fuck up like I can. Brownie points await, and the shoe sins will be forgiven.

  23. Yes, flattards believe that South is Down, and as they don't believe in gravity it causes them no mental anguish. They seem to have abandoned "droppity" in favor of "buoyancy" and "density" as their explanation of why things fall to the ground. However, when they are told that atmospheric pressure gets less as a function of altitude, and that their "model" would predict that things should fall up rather than down, you get the sounds of crickets chirping.
