@libbybollinger5901 If it wasn't for the internet, these simple succulents would be more or less invisible as they sit in the corner of their gaff sipping their scrump and muttering.
1
@Zripas He's really not interested in what you have to say. All you'll get from him is yet more FE crap statements with nothing in support. If you like chasing him down his rabbit hole for entertainment, well that's different.
1
Don't bother trying. Although they claim to apprehend reality via their senses alone, their absurd claims suggest otherwise. Such as sunsets, when they claim that the Sun goes further away from them and disappears as a tiny dot. Nobody sees that, which tells me that they are recycling FE shitvids. To understand flattards you need to investigate psychological factors. Hell, there must be a PhD in this!
1
Flat Earth logic in a nutshell.
1
When you have overwhelming evidence (knowledge, not belief) available for the global shape of the Earth, and you have none whatever for your fantasy flat Earth belief, why would you think that normal people would consider your belief to be a valid one to profess? The two are not even close.
1
@vastoa The false statement derives from their mistaken belief that the Earth is flat. The falsity of the statement derives from its conflict with observed reality.
1
The number of competent scientists represents a very small percentage of the population in any country. Progress in science is unaffected by the ramblings of the folk who are attracted to the various conspiracy theories and snake oil salesmen.
1
@awareness-mb5do There is ZERO evidence in support of the flat Earth fantasy. See, that wasn't so difficult, was it?
1
@Cardinal RG There's a good chance he's just playing with as many people who are prepared to respond to his bait. I doubt that he believes any of the crap he's spouting.
1
@capitaopacoca8454 OK, time out you two. Just accept that flattards and creationists are chasing pipe dreams and leave it at that.
1
@capitaopacoca8454 Non sequiturs much? How about you just stick to taking flat Earthers apart and skip the rest.
1
@adriel115_ What on Earth are you doing here, spouting religion as if it has the slightest relevance to a vid that pertains to the alleged existence of a flat Earth? Go away.
1
@adriel115_ I repeat, don't try to hijack a flat Earth vid for your own purposes. There are plenty of other websites where you might find somebody interested in your voluminous treatises.
1
@Kokangalang And so do flattards - they choose to ignore it.
1
You have to believe Dubay's moronic torch Sun to get your head round that one, if you're a flat Earther. Nobody else bothers.
1
And good luck getting any of the morons to understand that.
1
@Gimo76 It's quite refreshing to see someone parrot so much flat Earth and religion shit in one place! Did you get your PhD in Flattardia from YT University?
1
Water is not wet. Don't just say it is, go research it, but keep away from antiscientific FE vids.
1
We shouldn't spend a cent on the morons. A trip to space would mean nothing to them. Their religious zeal insulates them from evidence.
1
@user-kx7bd2xi8x You're the one who believes in a big ice wall. Why? There's no evidence for it. My research reveals nothing. And where's your dome? Never been seen or photographed. How come you believe in all this fairy tale stuff? The world is big and interesting enough without having to believe in fantasies sold to you by FE priests.
1
@user-kx7bd2xi8x This may come as a big shock to you, but instead of a big ice wall in the South there is a lovely big continent called Antarctica. Yes, Dorothy, a big CONTINENT called Antarctica. There are research stations there and lots of people live and work there. You can even visit, either by cruise ship or by overflying bits of it in charter planes. Seriously, if you've been told about ice walls and crap like that by FE vids, you've been sold a crock of shit by people who defo do not have your best interests at heart. Try the following vid as a taster, then when you discover that all that FE crap is just crap, explore the heaps of other vids of Antarctica that are available. Books, too. Reality is far more interesting than being satisfied with the pack of lies that is flat Earth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRZKm3Zii-U
1
@user-kx7bd2xi8x All the evidence tells me that the Earth is a globe, but there is NO evidence whatever to suggest otherwise. The shape of the Earth is a physical thing, not just an abstract idea that you buy from some charlatan on YT. You want to believe in a big ice wall? Fine, but as nobody has evidence one for its existence, even you should start to smell a rat by now. Ditto your "dome". If it's your word for "atmosphere", you don't need to invent a new word for it. However, if you really believe that there is something dome shaped acting as a barrier of some sort, well then, the same apples as for your big ice wall - go find the evidence. Or don't you flattards need any sort of evidence for your fantasy?
1
Bob Knodel already did that with a ring laser gyro and demonstrated the expected 15 degree per hour drift. Thanks Bob. Small problem for him - he was a flattard trying to show that the Earth didn't move. Bummer.
1
You aren't forgetting the old flattard canard of fish eye lenses are you? They'll also have you believe that rockets hit the "firmament" before falling back to Earth. They truly are a piece of work, faithfully trained by Dubay and his fellow charlatans who collect the rent from their adoring disciples who live in Flattardia.
1
@faithismespeaks6848 How about you do your own research? All we get from you is assertions that require faith and you adduce no evidence whatever. What holds in your flat oceans, genius? A Big Ice Wall maybe? If so, where's the evidence, showing the thing in its entirety and including the compass bearings taken when traversing its length? You have nothing, right, but you believe it's there, don't you? Dumbass flattard.
1
@belly tripper No need to shout. Or is your CapsLock key broken?
1
@coreymcmahon5144 I suppose you could delete the original post, which should also remove the replies. Nah, leave it as it is. Nobody will think any the less of you. We all make mistaeks.
1
@coreymcmahon5144 You're welcome.
1
@Deus_Imperator Dominic is not here to learn about the real world. His brief is to ignore you and preach his FE shite at anybody who is prepared to listen. Does that sound like evangelical religion to you?
1
The bible is not a geography or science reference. And no, it's not flat. Try to find your big ice wall.
1
@D-MAC18 Your bible and scientists address different topics. Unless, of course, you'd like to show me where the bible provides the formula for hydrofluoric acid, or the atmospheres of the planets in our solar system. You reject all of science ("the bible trumps science completely") but enjoy the fruits of its progress. Hypocrite much? Go live in a cave and spurn the fruits of Satan!
1
Belief in a Big Ice Wall is just that, misguided, baseless belief. Not scientifically demonstrated/seen/measured. No flat Earth without it. Your turn. More FE shit, perhaps, or maybe some evidence?
1
@timneilson5812 You seem obsessed with this mud flood crap. How about you go look for a vid where people actually share your obsession so you can have a nice chat with them?
1
@timneilson5812 Anybody can enter the chat. And what's a "lier"?
1
@timneilson5812 Tim, your paranoia is overwhelming what little grasp of reality you have. Please go back on the meds. If you have none, you need some.
1
@dirkardostevergreen4827 Mattresses willom just like that.
1
It's just as likely that the internet has made these simple succulents far more visible, not only to us but also to each other, and to the charlatans who happily sell them conspiracy theories and other crap such as flat Earth, COVID denial and so on. Like any solution, there is a cost.
1
@number1pappy Plenty of Nazis in the good ole US of A. Look around. They are certainly not all Democrats, as you fondly believe. Maybe some of them are among your Rep friends. Scary thought, eh?
1
@KangenAlec Your flat Earth crap is just that - crap. There is no science in it whatever, just the fantasy provided by your FE priests. Your paranoia provides the rest.
1
No danger of any of that flat Earth shite becoming truth, no matter how often its believers keep shouting it.
1
@philaypeephilippotter6532 I like agnosticism. And I don't use faith to discover or know things (apistevism). Spirituality is different again, and intensely private, certainly not for broadcasting on the net. Someone who insists that you reveal yourself to the world on a forum like this is missing the point. Plenty of people in encounter groups have gone off the rails big time (a friend suicided) after revealing such things in public because a therapist thought it was a good idea. And no, I don't feel the need. I'm on the other side of the fence.
1
No.
1
@falonrobinson3465 Really? Can you give an example of a non-globe planet? If you're making a general statement, are you suggesting that gravity alone is not a sufficient explanation for the formation of planets? If so, please explain.
1
@marcob9124 Every living thing on this planet is the latest iteration in a vast body of evolution. Maybe even you.
1
@marcob9124 Sounds like your thoughts on the matter derive from deeply held religious beliefs that prevent you from appreciating the manifold advances in science over the last 160 years or so.
1
Where?
1
@glennrobards585 If anybody is a fraud it's you. Go troll somewhere else.
1
@philaypeephilippotter6532 Shit, don't try selling one of those brains to me!
1
Darth Hideous ...and damn proud of it, y'all!
1
@yazzamx6380 Don't bother - you'll never get a sensible reply from him. His mission is to preach his FE shit at you, regardless of what you are interested in discussing.
