The high profile obscenity trials of the 60s led to more mature societies, all of which experience occasional pressures toward suppression of opinion. Some societies have yet to deal sensibly with perceived threats to religious PC, and flat Earth folk show signs of this. Witness their childish claims that NASA and others are somehow satanic, ascribing crazy actions to them such as a military defense of Antarctica. They then have the right to attack what they see to be weaknesses in the arguments/evidence of their opponents. There can be no debate with flattards as they have zip evidence FOR their flat Earth. All they have are well debunked criticisms of the globe Earth, none of which a defensible argument makes. Period. If they want to debate, let us first see their physical evidence FOR their flat Earth.
