I was starting to become pro Russian 5 years ago but i started learning Russian and after 2022 the censorship became unbearable and ruined a lot of good things from Russia and i like Ukraine. and you see all these conservatives still defending them after everything they did sometimes it seems like these guys just group all of eastern Europe as the same thing and literally can't tell the difference between Russia and Romania. there are some things in the west that are going downhill that are not a problem in other region's but Russia has bigger problems right now. like right now in the uk some people went to jail for a few months or a year for what they said online but in Russia they will go to jail for 15 years for the same thing in some other countries they wont go to jail for that stuff .but these guys don't know basic geography. also Russia basically ruined Ukraine that was probably closer to a conservative utopia than Russia. and even the countries that aren't at war are now forced to become more militarised like the Baltic states and Poland and this just makes life worse in those countries. but they can't really take the risk and they don't really want to anger the usa and western Europe so they give in to some of their bad demands because its better than trying to be neutral. because it looks like that will just end up with the Russians trying to take over instead .

  23. i think the biggest problem with Russia is the old people. seriously how did they even live this long even in a world without computers or other modern things they would end up in huge trouble its like that movie The Invention of Lying 2009 .were nobody can lie and then one guy starts lying and become the most powerful man in the world. old people in my country don't do this they can get scammed but you can't trick them into doing crazy stuff like this. they are just people who pretend like its 1970 but you had scammers before the internet or even before electricity . every time i see an interview with a Russian old person its quite disappointing .in other countries they got interesting stuff to say about the past but in Russia its like talking to Stalin himself

  26. The problem with the west is that its going down hill slightly while most other regions are getting better .but that doesn't matter because its going to be a long time before things are as bad as many other regions here.

  49. i am not sure what its like in Portugal but in my country you can find towns within walking distance of the capital that are way cheaper safer and have most of the things you need like jobs shops and so on. the only downside is that the capital speaks another language than the surrounding region so that will make it hard for an immigrant (guess the country) i assume its similar in Portugal since its not very big .but i know a lot of people are abandoning the smaller towns i am not sure if its just because of shrinking populations or if there is something wrong with the towns and its not worth moving there even if its super cheap .and i don't know if its affecting the towns close to the capital
