The thing i don't like about Duolingo is that they don't have a lot of non European languages. they even got courses for Klingon but very few for Asian and African languages. and the ones they do have like their Japanese course is too short. is this racism? people should try to cancel them over this. But i think they do this because they want you to learn something like welsh or Swedish. that is mostly spoken by a handful of woke people. instead of Bengali or Arabic that is spoken by based people.

  29. That man was trying to save eastern Europe unfortunately he got help from people who were not much better than the enemy but he had no choice. America wasn't going to help they couldn't do it alone. if they where lucky they could have ended like Finland and quickly change sides at the end of the war but that wouldn't work. because the ussr really wanted to own Ukraine more than Finland and they had to go trough Ukraine to get to Germany.

  31. reminds me of my grandparents on my moms side they are nice but very simple people .the ones on my dads side are quite cool they don't know much about modern things but like to talk about history and politics sadly grandpa has died and my grandma on that side is running out of time .

  32. Yea some of the things i remember from that time seem like dreams. because of how well things just worked and how rational people were .if we tried to do some of the things we did in the 90s today .they would fail because people are too selfish and impulsive now

  42. Yea this war is not really relevant to people in the west some people try to relate Russia to the right and Ukraine to the left but both of these countries are ultra conservative compared to the uk.

  43.  @hoosthere  Its not Ukraine has things like Azov battalion and other things the left would never tolerate. Its just that the west is pro Ukraine because they see Russia as more of a treat but this is not about left and right its just geopolitics. The American left would be shocked if they spend a lot of time in Ukraine with their more conservative culture. I would also like to add that Russia still uses a lot of soviet symbols today so Russia could be considered more far left than Ukraine. But its a very different form of leftism that is not compatible with western leftism i think you really need to learn that not everything is like it is in America .

At least i can understand why they voted for him. unlike in germany recently were they voted for greens and in the usa were Biden won. because those guys are worse than the previous leaders in almost every way. but in Poland they are not really affected by wokness .tusk was leader before but in a more peaceful time and the polish right wingers got cocky and made bad decisions and the other right wing party took things too far
