Hey thanks for feedback. I didn't mean anti hero and sympathetic villain were the same. I was just going a step down. Next step down would be an unsympathetic villain, like Hitler, Bin Laden, Sabretooth...who in the comics tried to be a xman for half a minute. But realized he is pure animal and likes it that way. Wolverine had slaughtered dozens of humans in the comics. Superheroes typically don't kill, so he was one if the first to do so unapologetically. Plus he has berserker rages. There's a thousand issues of Wolverine backstory, and in his long life, he definitely flirted with amoral behavior. He gets heroic status for trying to contain his anger, hence his connection to Japan and the warrior way. Claremont described him as a failed samurai. Whereas Sabretooth wholeheartedly embraces his predator nature and is jealous/ sickened by Logan's attempts to be normal. Oh, the drug dealer thing is I meant a bad dude that doess something good, can offset his reputation. Deadpool is the newest anti hero in movies. He was straight funny villain in comics until he became a favorite. The Punisher and Judge Dredd definitely are anti heroes but tread the line of villainy, like Dirty Harry ( Clint Eastwood vigilante cop) because they kill without mercy and consider themselves the law. Even Batman, Supes, Spiderman, Captain A and Daredevil have a no killing rule. So they are straight heroes. They will if forced, but will feel remorse. Anti hero knows you gotta die. And now. But he might not do it, because he is trying to be a part of a group, like when Arnie was a good T-1000. In original, he was ruthless killer. In Kill Bill, I would say Bill was sympathetic villain. We didn't know his entire past. But, he basically said his heart was broken and didnt think The Bride should live a sublife as just a wife/mom knowing full well she was a badass ninja, She was definitely an anti-heroine, one of very few.

World War 3 was prevented, because the world was rebuilding then. But, I say it's the best thing that could happen. If after, populations are depleted. A eugenics program is started and after a long dark age, renaissance, a New Evolution. Granted, I'm choosing Evil. But, people don't understand why it exists. A lion that kills a gazelle, a forest fire, a meteor strike, a dangerous intersection. Only good comes from horror and death. While only prolonged mediocrity and inevitable decay comes from growth and success. We failed. I say speed it up.

One time there was a Special Boy, who seemed meek amongst other Specials. But, the institution itself had become bloated, lazy, dogmatic, formulaic. It seemed better than Evil, but certainly less exciting. In fact, it was often engaged in questionable actions itself. The Special Boy had a Destiny, but to achieve it,he had to defy convention, suffer greatly, confront evil and be forced to make a choice...both involving great sacrifice with only potential reward. And the World would be changed by his choice.
I've never seen Harry Potter, but I assume that's the storyline, since its almost universal. Same as Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker and Jesus Christ.
