I read an article and Ukrainian soldiers around Bakmut said the regular russian soldiers they're encountering are better equipped and are learning fast and better co ordinating their infantry artillery and air power
88
@fancychannelname Abram tanks have been destroyed in the past it's nothing new there isn't a tank in history that couldn't be destroyed
41
Well the Ukrainian can quit anytime they want
13
It was obvious when soledar fell that bakmut would also fall it was only a matter of time. Fingers crossed Ukraine can conduct a good offensive in the south and give the orcs a bloody nose
11
@carldrogo9492 no Russia underestimated Ukraine's desire to not be a russian puppet state
8
The Russians thought the war would be over quickly because of how easy they took Crimea they underestimated the Ukrainian will and ability to fight
7
The people they take from the prisons arn't really contractors
6
@thehappyclam3942 it's not time for a settlement it's time for Russia to get out of Ukraine
6
@ViatoremDiEfa being short on tanks and aircraft doesn't mean they're losing. They want to mount an offensive and you need heavy weapons to do that
6
@l.hansson1143 none of them can make the Ukrainian people fight if they don't want to
5
@lebohang8405 the west has never said they're impartial they're openly backing Ukraine
5
Peace plan 😂 basically give Russia what they want
5
The Ukrainian need the munition that fires from the HIMARS and m270 MLRS that contains 180,000 tungsten balls. A HIMARS fires all 6 rounds they can saturate an area 800x800 metres and the M270 can cover an area 1600x1600 metres. They will be able to slaughter russian infantry attacks
5
An epic fail seriously get a grip it's war vehicles get destroyed all the time and their has never been an armoured vehicle that couldn't be knocked out
4
You forgot what Russia did in Syria and Afghanistan
4
@rodneyagesa1851 Wagner has superiority in artillery and airpower and even then they're struggling to capture à small city no way they're the best fighting force in the world
4
It should be obvious to anyone that a battle of attrition isn't winnable for Ukraine. I believe at some point they will need to transition to an insurgency and look to drag the war out 10 plus years. It will be easier to supply and a lot more nimble not giving the Russians big static targets to pound with the artillery. The failure to provide Ukraine with the kamikaze drones like the switch blade 600 which could be used to degrade Russian artillery is unbelievable considering probably 80-90% of Ukrainian casualties come from artillery
4
For the sake of everyone Russia should get out of Ukraine
3
@OzzyBloke No I'm not struggling I've been pleasantly surprised how inept the Russian military has been in this war
3
The best solution is Russia getting out of Ukraine
3
@229andymon the Donbas wasn't going to be semi autonomous it was going to be a Russian puppet
3
Air power would make a difference it's the lack of airpower that's the problem
3
@freedumb_3.0 bullshit this guy has fought with the Australian and French military he has plenty of experience and you can hear him talking this guy isn't stupid
3
@thenecessarygood he isn't crying clown he's giving an accurate account of what is happening
3
@thenecessarygood it will be hilarious when the Russians find themselves bogged down in an insurgency and they keep dying.
3
@TheDisinformationProjectNz you're the one coping it's war casualties are part of the deal
2
@crforfreedom7407 one small column not breaching defences isn't epic. In world war two this wouldn't even be talked about losing a few armoured vehicles was just another day at the office
2
@keysersoze1855 it's clearly not a success but it's not an epic fail it was one column of armoured vehicles that got hit hard and stopped. People have forgotten what real war is like in world war two this happened all the time
2
@DominicFlynn none of the territory is Russian
2
@davidttower you don't know how many soldiers either side has lost the numbers arn't released
2
@davidttower you mean the woman from the EU who said Ukraine had lost 100,000 officers when they don't even have that many in their army🤦
2
@sergeybobkov951 no they couldn't their supply lines were getting cut off
2
The people in the Donbas should leave and go live in Russia if they want to be Russian. The Donbas isn't theirs to take it belongs to Ukraine
2
Russia can piss off anytime they want.
2
They've always here
2
@hercg1967 Ukraine is a sovereign nation they have the right to forge their own path. Russia are the ones acting like Nazi in Ukraine they're a disgrace how they've conducted themselves
1
@gerri577 the only way out is to surrender and agree to be a slave to Russia or keep fighting
1
@donblockchain7887 No they're not a US puppet state they wanted to be part of the EU which was their ultimate goal but Putin and his gangsters said no
1
You sound like a drama queen this is a major war there will be success and failure not all attacks will be successful just look at any war in the past
1
Well the Russian tanks performance has certainly been bad advertising for their arms industry
1
@orthodoxserb6596 yes the Russians reverted to fighting behind their artillery. If they start trying to fight mobile warfare again pushing forward with their armour their tank casualties will increase again
1
@orthodoxserb6596 that's true it means when the Ukrainian conduct a major offensive to capture ground it better be a success they can't afford failure.
1
@orthodoxserb6596 I will check him out

One thing that has perplexed is how long it's taken for the switch blade 600 to get to Ukraine the Biden administration has said they've purchased them to sent over. It has a warhead like the javelin and can destroyed a main battle tank. It can fly 80km in one direction or fly 40 km in 20 mins then loiter for another 20 mins looking for a target. It can operate at night and has an electric motor which is quiet. It would be perfect for targeting russian artillery pieces and hitting their ammunition dumps grinding them down. 80-90% of the Ukrainian casualties are from artillery so something needs to be done to address that
1
@yellowtunes2756 the switch blade 600 has a far small radar cross section that the Turkish drones that were sent. You launch the switch blade out of a tube it's far smaller. The Ukrainian are already using kamikaze drones to destroy russian tanks
1
@yellowtunes2756 yes they need to send at least in the hundreds. The company said they can make 2000 per year and are increasing that to 6000. I saw some footage of a russian tank getting destroyed I will try to find it
1
@yellowtunes2756 https://youtu.be/RT9_HZv_xsc Here's that kamikaze drone footage
1
Bullshit the Russians have had months to prepare and western military leaders knew there would be casualties. A few armoured vehicles get knocked out and drama queens are all over the net getting hysterical
1
I have always believed from the start of the war that the Ukrainian military need to be supplied in large numbers with the switch blade 600. It can fly 80km in one direction or fly 40 km in 20 mins then loiter for another 20 mins looking for a target. It has a warhead like the javelin and is capable of destroying a vehicle as strong as a main battle tank. It can operate day or night and has an electric motor which is very quiet. They should be using them to launch massed attacks on Russian artillery pieces on a daily basis grinding down their towed artillery and self propelled artillery. The Ukrainian will never match the Russians shell for shell so the kamikaze drones are a good way to counter that advantage. Probably 90% of Ukrainian casualties are from artillery and it's the back bone of the Russian ground forces so it's vital to attack that russian strength and reduce its effectiveness
1
They better hurry I think Russia is going to throw everything they have in around march April after the spring thaw which will enable them to sustain severe intensity till the end of August which is the end of summer
