@authenticshift5515 I doubt anyone will trust the Russians either
1
@ptbelttactics yeah and what's your point?
1
@ptbelttactics my first comment was to L Hansson who said giving Ukraine weapons is prolonging the fight and the suffering. I said you him the Ukrainian can quit anytime they want to because no one is forcing them to fight they're choosing too. They're taking the casualties and continuing to fight because they want their freedom.
1
The whole Russian invasion has been a joke
1
I agree willy Bakmut is doomed Ukraine needs to put as much as artillery and MLRS to drag the fight out as long as possible till the equipment arrives from the west. Western leaders need to haul ass they're a disgrace how they conducting themselves
1
Russia are the warmongers they want all the countries around them to be subservient
1
@Mortablunt yeah it will be LOL seeing the Russians retreating again in the south
1
@thehappyclam3942 Ukraine needs to recapture the south other wise they will be land looked. They can't entertain any talks until that happens
1
@miriamweller812 what Nazi speech are you referring to 🤡
1
@OzzyBloke the Russians are struggling everywhere🤡
1
@thehappyclam3942 no it's not likely because as soon as they try to maneuver they get slaughtered their ability to conduct operations with vehicles if all types and infantry is awful.
1
@DzIVDzAN I know more than you dummy the fact that all the Russian fanboys a cheering so loudly about bakmut just demonstrates how badly this so called special military operation has gone for Russia it's been a shambles from day one
1
@kaykay865 I'm not living in the past Ukraine is it's own nation that's been invaded. This whole war is an imperialist land grab by Russia since the end of the cold war they've had to wars with Chechnya, attacked Georgia, attacked Ukraine in 2014 and now they're doing it again
1
@jeffbock2793 No they didn't have a deal on the table they had Russian demands and they weren't forced to fight by the west they chose to because they don't want to be ruled by Russia.
1
@kaykay865 yeah Putin certainly had some delusions when he invaded Ukraine
1
@darkobruce it's time for you to join Wagner I'm sure they'll love to have you
1
@kaykay865 they struggled to even out flank bakmut making a few hundred metres a day for heavy casualties. Just face it their performance in Ukraine has been poor.
1
@jeffbock2793 If the Ukrainian wanted to sign the deal they would have. If they signed it what would Boris Johnson or anyone else do about it? The answer is nothing.
1
@palmanbracht9125 I guess you didn't know about the tens of thousands of soldiers being trained in the UK plus all the tanks and Bradley's plus other weapon. Systems being sent.
1
@DzIVDzAN it had.a Population of around 75000 at the start of the war. Cities come in a lot of sizes and 75,000 strong isn't considered big
1
@jeffbock2793 no I'm not kidding if zelensky said I'm signing a deal with the Russians what could the west do? invade Ukraine.
1
@palmanbracht9125 I understand more than you
1
@julianpetkov8320 no it's time for Russia to get out of Ukraine
1
@DzIVDzAN my point is it's not even a major city in Ukraine like Kiev and it's taken them seven months of slog to capture it. The fact that you Russian fanboys are coming out making such a big deal about the capture of one city of that size just shows how badly the invasion has gone and how desperate you fools are for a success. With air and artillery dominance plus more tanks no competent army would take 7 months to put flank a city when the ground their fighting on is predominantly flat.
1
@redstarling5171 the Ukrainian may need to transition to an insurgency style fight trying to maximize mobility and doing hit and run attacks avoiding trench warfare as much as possible. I can't see the Ukrainian ever completely capitulating to the Russian they hate them so much now and simply don't want to be ruled by them. An insurgency will drag on for years and become a slow bleed for Russia in men and equipment. The next 6 months are going to be critical in the direction the war takes
1
@islandwills2778 I said they wouldn't have 100,000 officers in their army. A woman in the EU said Ukraine had lost 100,000 officers
1
@hmmm2564 the flanks of bakmut are weak
1
@SanityMustPrevail the Russians struggled around bakmut for months and if they lose it they will struggle again
1
@hmmm2564 the Russians have an advantage in the air they don't have complete superiority they still have to be careful with their air operations they've lost a lot of aircraft. That's one of the reasons what the fighting was so hard around bakmut and gains were so slow
1
@hmmm2564 the losses the Russians have taken have certainly concerned them that's why they're been so cautious with their close air support
1
@hmmm2564 no bakmut was hard because the Russians were facing a tough determined skilled enemy who were prepared to fight hard to defend their country
1
Bullshit the fighting is tough for both sides
1
Clown the Russians lost tens of thousands of men trying to capture bakmut and it's flanks aren't secure so they can't even advance
1
@hooo12121 no it's not a cope the Russians were slaughtered in the tens of thousands taking months to capture a small city. The flanks aren't secure which is why they can't advance any further.
1
Sit back and do nothing just letting Ukraine fall and watch what happens China and North Korea are watching how the world reacts to this
1
Ukraine needs to move.some of the air defences from around Kiev to the front to provide more protection from russian air assets including drones that are spotting for russian artillery. The Ukrainian also need to use a combination of special forces behind the lines plus swarms of loitering munitions to sweep through an area to try and put some attrition on the Russians artillary in the area that the Ukrainian are looking to push through. The Russians have multiple lines if defense apparently and have had months to repair so its going to be a hard slog without airpower to achieve results. Fingers crossed Ukraine can achieve success but casualties look likely to be heavy in men and equipment
1
@MikeOxlong-jj8bd it will be destroyed like every other tank
1
@MikeOxlong-jj8bd how wonderful rebuilding the city after laying waste to it and killing thousands of people.
1
@MikeOxlong-jj8bd the Nazi in Ukraine are the Russian Invaders. You have no clue.
1
I think the big battle will be from April to the end of August that's when the weather is at its best the Russians will try to force a conclusion to the war
1
Wasn't he a Bishop?
1
@Kevin Allies bullshit a country with over 20 million strong population doesn't run out of soldiers in one year
1
If the people in the Donbas want to be russian go live there
1
Plenty of Russians have gone up in smoke 😂
1
Russia wants to control all the smaller countries around them the war in Ukraine is an imperialist invasion
1
The Ukrainian are still getting supplies and will leave before they get cut off
1
@tomk3732 they're still getting supplies other wise they would order a withdrawal with soldiers coming out in small groups. No way Ukraine is going to sacrifice five brigades
1
@tomk3732 no they won't pay with 5 brigades if a withdrawal is ordered they will be withdrawing in small groups dispersed to reduce casualties. They will take casualties but the brigades won't be lost
1
@tomk3732 the artillery will be based outside the city so they won't have to worry about losing that vital equipment. Any armoured vehicles they have will come under heavy artillery and anti tank missile fire I certainly wouldn't want to be in one Yes I agree they will have to leave a rear guard to hold while the rest leave they also need to bolster their artillery and MLRS to put as much pressure on the Russian artillery and MLRS systems as they can when they withdraw their infantry and armoured units. The situation looks grim but with good coordination between infantry and armoured units and the artillery they should be able to extract the brigades though not without damage They will at least have brigades that can be brought back up to strength rather than losing them completely in the city. Only time will tell and I agree they should have pulled out a couple of weeks ago but they are where they are. We will find out how good the Ukrainian leadership is managing this withdrawal.
1
@BroadHobbyProjects you're name says it all clown. I wonder what you would have thought getting marched into a gas chamber
