Whether is was a mistake or a trap I don't care much. What count is who get short in ammunitions first, because even a noob with a loaded gun can still shoot a starving unarmed professional soldier at a distance of 3m. People look at the map and say Soledar is falling and Ukrainian troops must evacuate at night, but more than the map is the number of armed vehicles, fresh troops and types of weapons that can enter the city without being shelled right now that count. This is sometime decided by artillery working 30km away, out of the map views usually commented.
