I have never once met a british indian or pakistani who supports england in cricket over india/pakistan or even considered themselves british over indian/pakistani. does that mean that an indian or pakistani prime minister does not have loyalty to the uk or wd favour his family's country of origin over the uk if it came to the crunch? NB sunak let in 250,000 indians into the uk in one year. Just a coincidence im sure.

Our country, its identity and culture are becoming ever more lost to us. There is no end to it, there will be no Quit India moment for us when we will get our country back.

They still exist - they haven't been killed but they have been replaced in what were their areas. And understandably to have communities destroyed in this very disruptive way is genuinely traumatic

  29. ​ @tinaunderhill5412  not so simple really, many people regard nationality and ethnicity as much the same thing. very few japanese people would regard the children of foreigners as japanese in any way other than being holders of a citizenship. cliff richard, joanna lumley and george orwell were all born in india and lived there until independence, i doubt they regarded themselves as indian.

  32.  @politicas3361  they are being replaced from their communities and to some extent from the country as a whole as many have emigrated due to concerns about immigration - if by "we" you mean the english many of us are indeed going elsewhere. we are also being replaced as a percentage of the population as a whole. Imagine an island with 1,000 ppl. 99,000 move there. The original inhabitants went from 100% of the population to 1%. They are still physically there but have been massively replaced as a percentage.

Have you been through every single piece of data on the subject?! ​ pretty sure u could find data to support that some emigrants from the uk are leaving due to concerns around immigration. I've heard that view expressed many times online and in person but i have to say i cant be bothered to search for any! Your last question is fair enough and doesn't really have a simple answer.

The anglo saxons didn't exterminate or drive away the ancient british, they became part of them in the same way that invaders in scotland and wales such as the irish, vikings and also anglo saxons did.
