Funny you say that, as most of what peterson communicates is from his own intuition instead of evidence or statistical data, I mean he knows these information, but he infers from them from his own reasoning, which basically muddles the data, it's like making an experiment based on another experiment, except it's in your head and not empirical.

But make no mistake there is such a thing as eq or emotional quotient. And some will argue it's more.important than iq. Part of the eq is conscientiousness.

  29. I don't think you understand. I can have the worst hangover and do an iq test, and I will be on 20% iq capacity, the score would be a lot different if I was sober. This is the analogy to your comment. I mean you can only read so many books, the more you read the less improvement you will have. But if you're an educated adult, this score should be somewhat consistent. If you can get a score of over 150 trust me it's not because you read. You can't get 2 people from there Street who has average iq and ask them to study for a year and suddenly become a genius (a genius in iq definition). That basically destroys your hypothesis.

Thats the concept youre taking literal, but ofcourse, unless you want to be paranoid all day, but I dont recommend that. For example, if I see 2 guys, 1 holding a knife in plain sight, and there is another one just standing there. I will keep an eye on the guy holding a knife, therefore I will be blindsided by the guy that looks innocent. So, your brain takes these queues, otherwise if you suspect everything around you, then you will be in constant flight or flight mode that takes a serious impact on your health. I think all of this is over your head tbh.
