How biblical are the scriptures?
3
No one I know believes in astrology, karma, or tarot. To be honest, though, I don't know a lot of people.
3
Yet so few listened and understood.
3
Crazy fiction, huh?
3
If Christians could reason as well as they insulted, they wouldn't be so often scorned as intellectually deficient.
3
Ossuaries?
3
Jesus missed the Sunday school bus? 😂
3
As a service industry worker in a conservative area, you need a better and more skilled line of work. I had to evolve beyond such wage slavery, and hope you do too.
3
If he doesn't eat or drink, is it really life? Or can you tell us what Jesus had for breakfast this morning?
3
There are 100 gods. What gives YHWH priority over Ba'al?
3
@nikostheater And you have no further source for that information than corrupted, errant texts and your own vivid imagination. Well thought out. Now think outside the box you've confined yourself in. An infallible god would have created less fallible religions.
3
Confucianism: older than Christianity, not a Jewish schism, and more honest by avoiding claims of the supernatural.
3
@jonnymak1079 This kind of atheist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCNkPpq1giU
3
The history of religion proves that religion does indeed evolve.
3
How Gnostic.
3
@truthinesssss You should strive to be more truthy, truthinessss.
3
@truthinesssss You say I believe in tenets. Contrast with what I wrote: ...outside the range of human experience and the tenets of what is considered reality by the majority of humanity. It's also not considered vitriolic criticism when I observe your reading comprehension skills are defective. That's logic.
3
@Lmaoh5150 You're wasting your intellect on someone who's already made up their mind that they're correct and everyone else is wrong. Exercise in futility.
3
@cheryldeboissiere7824 One of the most impressive mythological literatures I've ever read was the Iliad. And the Torah.
3
@termination9353 Gee! The first time I got praise on YouTube! Thank you! I do try hard.
3
@ahratazaratazahla6923 Maybe what Mr. Seigel meant was you're over-thinking the problem? In the long range of things, maybe these situations are insignificant? Hebrews conquered Canaanites. Elamites conquered Sumerians. Amorites conquered Babylonians. Romans conquered Gauls. Americans conquered Indians. History teaches us that all empires rise, then fall.
3
I recommend Bart Ehrman, vigorously. "Religion For Breakfast" has had Dr. Ehrman on his show at least once before. Dr. Ehrman's books have helped teach me, and I love learning the truth behind such fictional fabrications as Christianity.
3
Any religion that needs post-mortem places of punishment isn't really fit to fear.
3
God didn't invent the Hebrew language, it EVOLVED. It's amazing how Christians fail to understand the mechanisms inherent to characteristics of refinement that even the Jews don't dispute. Great video, magnificent research. Honest Christians should be intrigued. And honesty would compel them to admit that their religion is a schism from original Judaism. But honesty is never a prerequisite to their dogma.
3
@busybody1474 And how much more informed are you about "God?" The deity of YHWH that goes by a half dozen other names, who impregnates a Jewish virgin to prove his presence instead of manifesting his own incarnation, who creates religions demonstrably imperfect? Please educate the world on how much you think you know.
3
@JokersVsZombies I have yet to be corrected. You just use insults without thinking. That takes no logic nor intelligence.
3
@bloodboughtbigphilr8266 Thumb up for updating me on new info I wasn't aware of. Thank you.
3
Good Samaritans get better press than the Bad Samaritans.
3
The Jesus who failed history class.
3
One bad habit humanity is starting to abandon is using capital letters for pronouns to idolize their deities. Why venerate mythology? Zeus and Ahura-Mazda didn't insist upon such slavish sycophancy.
3
America has lots of Olive Gardens, but the places are expensive.
3
@contentinternational Copy/paste, repeat often, and maybe some one will believe you. That's the technique of this Muslim propagandist.
3
@Heretical_Theology Thank you. 👍
3
Gee, I can quote gospels too! “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” Matthew 16:28. Doesn't make any of it true, does it?
3
Catholicism, the first schism from Judaism, is the original Christianity. Protestantism is a 500 year old schism from Catholicism that considers its denominations the only 1000 ways to properly worship their deity. Which proves evolution, since Judaism has been evolving since its inception and according to its own words.
3
Crackpots and looney tunes. Religion is for those who can't understand science nor logic.
3
Conclusion: humans love to bicker and prove to their fragile little egos that they're right when everyone else is wrong. It's a quaint form of conceit that reveals itself to be a mania. And thereby transcends the original purpose to arguing, which is to persuade.
3
Mythology Jews stole from Canaanites and then got stolen from them by Jesusites. The legend of the misappropriated fables.
3
100% extra virgin?
2
It's only a theory, but I suspect the average Christian lends more credibility to ancient Jewish fables than the average Jew.
2
Einstein and E=MC2 says all matter is energy.
2
Holy Ghost is weird. Doesn't even have a face. If it did have a face, is it bearded like Jesus and YHWH? Judeo/Christianity is so very filled with half-thought concepts.
2
@grantgooch5834 I am a part of reality due in whole to no decision made of my own free will. If God exists, he should be held accountable to me.
2
I've always wondered what kind of mantal imbalance is needed to believe in Christian metaphysics which don't conform to reality on any level whatsoever.
2
So English speakers could speak it.

🤪

Here.

@ajaxlewis7664 The local edgy theist refuses to acknowledge self-inflicted Dunning Kruger effects.
2
@PhDTony_original Today, I learned something new. Thank you, Tony.
