If you remove the Ukrainian territories already under the control of Ukrainian separatists since 2014 and before the start of this war, russia has gained around 10% of the Ukrainian territory. And I'm being kind. Beside Luhansk region, russia today does not fully control any region of Ukraine after 8 months of war. A war that has left russia exangue. Now russia looks for soldiers from its prisons, from Syria, from Chechen jihadists etc. Also asking weapons from Iran and north Korea. Russia has been massive attacked inside Russia. It's flag ship sunk. 80% of territories conquered with great difficulties now reconquered by Ukraine. Now it's mobilizing criminals and old men of 62 years with no military experiences. Russian army are poor fighters. Russia is weak militarily despite the empty hype of russian trolls.

Recently, the Myanmar minorities fled for their lives in their millions but they preferred to go Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia and even far away Australia but none accepted to go to China just a few miles away by land. And there's no natural barriers or obstacles.

Since then there has been no discussion not even an ongoing discussion for Ukraine to join NATO. Putin made it clear that Ukraine was not a country but a part of Russia. Then he accused Ukraine of committing genocide in the Donbas regional of Ukraine. A clear lie. Then he said Ukraine was governed by nazis and drug addicts. He added that he will take the entire country and get Ukraine rid of those Nazis and drug addicts in Kyiv. Clearly, Putin is a confused and deranged person living in a fantasy world of his own.

So the Myanmar minorities in grave danger of death and suffering massacres prefer to die than in Myanmar or while crossing ocean to Australia rather than to go to China nearly where they can go on foot and with bicycles. That's terrible.

Are you saying that china is long gone bankrupt ? be careful, because, china is the only country saving russia today by lending it money and massively buying its gas and oil at 30% of the market price. Lol. The chinese are really smart. Like I said, only nominal GDP counts and is used everywhere in the world including the russian ministry of economy. Why would it be concerned with this little one. The journalist said it just to give importance to this insignificant news. See how many people here are discussing more about the USA than about the 2 countries actually involved in that little exercises. Lol.
