  1.  @joejoejoejoejoejoe4391  no i mean in human society we are cramped very much together in an artifical way, closer to nature we would have groups of only 500 people, now most people live in cities with millions of people, diseases are everywhere but we have medicine to deal with that, there is plenty of food and water but very few housing and immense social and sensory overload via technology, so the brain is tricked into believing this is not a good time to mate and whenever groups from high birthrates populations come here they change to reflect the same birthrates in a short amount of time, that indicates it's the environment not the genes that reflect this behavior.

Nothing about this is natural, it's the most artifically enforced policy ever, these people would literally starve or drown without our help and it's mostly our governments and armed forces promoting and allowing it and attacking those that want to stop it within their own group. Partly, the construction of such mass production factories does take a lot of initial investment but in doing so also removes many low skilled jobs, meaning less wealth in the consumer class that drives economic growth. There realy is no easy solution for this economic problem of people not having any skills worth paying for, you could try and teach everyone how to code, you could have a basic income for all citizens which would be enough for them to survive on and consume products but won't fix demografic issue. It's complicated and multiple powerfull forces won't pick the rational solution, you could see some very nasty things in the coming decades, less utopian and more distopian situations as each nation tries to adapt to automation and AI.

  7.  @animeboitiddies6146  there are fields where very autistic people with almost zero social skills can have great value due to their technical know how and very logical mindset, you could see a situation in which a very social and cognative aware person enlists an army of autistic but savant people completely change the whole industrial means of production. stranger things have happened already.

  9.  @animeboitiddies6146  unskilled labor is the first to go but semi skilled and even some higher education jobs are becoming more automated, even some sectors people don't think of like creative works and music, before long AI will be used to develop high tech weapons or work out war strategies instead of human generals.

  10.  @lutherburgsvik6849  pretty much yeah, the question is what are they going to do? Which laws could give some protection to citizens? What goal or purpose would people have? Are people going to end up sterilized and/or turned into soylent green? I think you will see a push for genetic engineered people and cybernetics to try and keep up with AI, not sure how far people can go but AI has the advantage now, though im also not sure just how far the limits of biology could go. It's all very uncertain and both cool and horrific what could become our future.

  11.  @stephenarnold6359  if having jobs is all that mattered, we could hire people to break windows and find new people to fix them so people have jobs, what we want is more productive value and more economic value by the labor invested. Having jobs is a measurement of production or service value, if people can't offer any of either they won't be very usefull to the powers that be. However costly spending a great deal to maintain large populations might still be worth it for cannon fodder and small amount of skilled labor stilled valued. It all depends on the cost to value added by the population and the level of mercy and compassion of the government and/or corporations, spoiler alert their track record is not that good.

  14. well yes and no, there were many different attempt at Eugenics for different reasons, most were indeed attempts to raise high IQ birthrates or to lower birthrates of low IQ people, in Germany and in Sweden the Eugenics took on a more physical idealism of nordic/aryan looking traits while also raising the birthrates of elitist classes which would be people of party loyalty and high IQ populations, though at the same time they engaged in genocide of populations with rather high IQ's so this goes against what we would say is high IQ selection. in short it's complicated but compared to today yeah it was an attempt to try and stop it.

  21. question is the EU realy falling apart as in it will cease to exist within a few years or decades? or is the Anti EU side of the union coming apart and is the core of EU member states remaining to furter their own ideas of what they wish to become? the way i see it is that many nations have the same issues as the EU and that it has to change but that most, esspecially the smaller member states will desire to remain in the EU but to simply reform it somehow.

  26.  @joelfry4982  depends on what you mean by ''right'' if by right you mean accurate and true in reality than science is 99% always correct, depending on the margine of error that exist within it's method of collecting data and making models to predict events or behavior of subjects. if you mean right as in moraly right, is this the correct moral thing to label as correct than it's much more subjective to the person who deems it correct or incorrect, there is no reason religion and science can't cooexist it's just that most scientists and well educated people don't believe in god or religion. right or wrong, it's all so subjective, i prefer science, those who let science get blocked too much by morality are doomed to lose in my view from those that don't, that's the sad truth im afraid.

  27.  @joelfry4982  but the laws are not drawn by religions, in fact religion would say if they thief was a priest that he being more devine than you would be allowed to steal or given less sever punishment compared to a normal person. It's the rejection of religion and the scientific and enlightenment values that we have that created such laws and morality, this is not to say religion have no values or purpose in modern society but that the perspective that they are equal in value is just inaccurate.

  30.  @joejoejoejoejoejoe4391  to me it looks more like a natural behavior to bad enviromental conditions, animals in times of great crisis, hunger, predators, other will sometimes not mate and pass on their genes because the conditions are so bad that attempt would lead to loss of offspring and waste of energy, so they postpone having children till conditions improve, human beings are so much bombarded with information, large numbers of people in small area, abundance of unhealthy food, enviromental conditions that demand sitting at a desk all day filing paperwork or being on the computer that it might be tricking the brain into thinking conditions are bad, this is supported by the fact that people who are religeus have more children, as well as more rural area's, they are less exposed to these presures. Of course this is an over simplification and all industrialized nations have decline in birthrates regardless of other factors but it's clear that while we can produce a lot of goods and services those same conditions seem to reduce our population growth. Perhaps the solution is a return to more rural lifestyles? Perhaps have less urban cities? Idk.

  33. mmmmmm not exactly correct but close, it's a bit complicated because you had multiple turkic migrations and many split or merged with other groups while in today's times pan-turkism is still quite alive and well it's still not as strong as many people in that region think it is, it's just something that's there and helps smooth certain things in their relations with eachother but not more than that as of right now. as for pan-nationalism and pan-identity in general in some ways this has worked greatly like pan-americanism though that too had it's limits, others like pan-germanism and pan-slavism have mostly failed since internal problems tend to disolve their unity, the only real cases where pan nationalism seems to have worked long term is pan-hanism in China where one dominant ethnic, linqustic and cultural group dominates most of China and is about 1,4 billion strong last i checked. it's very hard to pull off and mostly only works when there is an external or internal enemy which makes banding together nessisary, like when Germany was formed due to threats from France.

  34. If ethnocentric populations dominate the future population and culture, how does that effect people who engage in intercultural and interracial marriages and produce offspring? My theory is that according to the rules of natural selection those who appear to be more genetically the same as the host population will have a beter chance at passing on their genes than those who appear to be outside their genetic population, of course this does not adress immigration which is the main contributing factor to native decline, next to immigrant populations reproducing among themselves. Would this not mean that the more ethnocentric swedes would without more immigration and benefits to outsiders eventualy come to dominate their own society again?

  39.  @city_of_coompton6832  you train only certain muscle groups each time so you have at least 48 hours between each next training, it's not for everyone, it's very time consuming, body can take it pretty well, I know one person who works out twice a day and trains about 6-7 days a week. Full body workout with one rest day between is also good, that cuts amount of time to something like 3-4 days of training per week.

  42. How do you mean choosing to live life? Does high wages for low education standard, low taxes and cheap housing exist in your country? Cause if so where is it so I can move there? Millenials have had a pretty rough start, even worse political ideologies upon them, neglectfull parents, worse economic perspectives, same with gen Z but they at least have gotten more used to the internet, perhaps when they reach the age of millenials today less old people and perhaps better chances. Though to be fair, a lot of millenials are demoralized and don't try and get ahead in life but there is little for them to get excited for in my opinion.

  43. Back in the early 2000s conspiracy theories were few and kind of wacky and the media never took them serieusly. Fast forward to 2022 and conspiracies have become plenty and many of them just explain events sometimes in very detailed cause and effects, while the media has become conspiracist and reports things that simply aren't true or don't even report on certain events if certain people are involved at all. It's become a bizzar world that makes little sense and in such an environment it's no wonder people turn to the far right or far left because either offers something that makes some sense compared to the center that makes no sense at all.

I would argue artifical selection could potentially replace and mimic natural selection pressures to somewhat maintain our society or at least part of it but in doing so would make us dependent on artifical means of survival, that could be either a good thing or a bad thing, if we are forced back into nature with nothing we probably would not survive, if we had and maintain the tools we could perhaps live forever but there are a lot of variables to consider.

  46. well it all kinda depends on events that happen in the near future, climate change and mass migration might lower IQ within that time period or perhaps some type of world war would destroy most of the world before this collapse happened naturally, knowing history and human behavior i don't think the trends as we see today will continue for longer than 25 years because after that point we probably will destroy ourselfs or cause such a collapse to make natural selection become the norm again, only time will tell.

  47.  @lemdixon01  regardless of climate change though, humans as a whole have expanded greatly and have been using up most resources and causing mass extinction, while I don't think global warming is the great end of all things like some people like to pretend, there is no denying that a world devoid of the natural cycle and eco-systems will be able to sustain life (humans included) which are in decline at a rapid pace, it will cause mass human conflicts and resource wars, esspecialy things like water. on the subject of natural selection im not so sure anymore, either we go back to the stone age and it comes back or we maintain a technology focus and simply replace the mechanism of natural selection and evolution artificially which will create it's own set of problems but also perhaps the means to solve them. that's my take at least.
