@julianmelillo I disagree, this is almost nothing to do with economics, it's purely political and ideological, the costs of multicultralism and immigration are in the billions, not to mention the insane social costs, crime and terrorism in such countries. there is hardly any economic benefit and mostly economic and national security burdens. the elites dont care about the people only themselves and like in the french revolution at some points they will lose their heads for it.

it used to make sense back in the 20th century, back then workers and esspecialy skilled workers were needed and they could have decent living, now in the modern age that way of thinking is just backwards, unproductive and insane. this plan of theirs will bankrupt canada, you can have immigration but it must be skilled labor, high IQ and or in advancing technologies like robotics or medicine, most migrants don't have those credentials and investing time and money in them will take billions of dollars and balkanize the society as we see all over the western world. without assimulation you get bakanisation.

Russia and China are not allies, they are historical enemies, China wants far east asia under their controle and Russia is facing a huge demografic problem within their borders and national security threats from the west. Russia is acting from a possition of weakness and can barely survive thanks to US sanctions and constant warmongering basicaly forcing them to ally with the chinese for self presurvation but they don't trust eachother and their national intrests don't aline. Russia is slowly but surely getting into the German or Euro spehere of influence, through nordstream 1 and 2, we already see a push for a shared EU army with the purpose of replacing NATO to reduce US influnce in the region, the USA fears Russia because an alliance between east and west (western Europe and Russia/eastern Europe) would be a disaster for US power projection on the global chessboard.
