@bitterballs356 socialism is actualy a cancer that causes refugies to come to other countries and disrupts trade and relations. USA indeed does not care about dictatorships, socialism or even fascism but if they can't trade, influence or stabalize the region, war becomes their only tool to work with. They have avoided Venezuela for decades now the chickens hace come home to roost.

@ogc9649 you are mad if you think that, when rebels too parts of syria the citizen fled to Assad, the west lied over and over again about gas attacks while israel attacked military bases of Syria. The people started to flee on mass when the syria government could no longer provide for all the millions of refugies. You are spreading propaganda, there are plenty of video's online of people cheering in the streets because assad has won in idlib.

Depends on what the goal is, how much the citizen support the regime change and how easy it would be for rebels to defend their nation. Venezuela is poor, most of their economy is in collapse, their dictator is hated by most people, no radical islam there. Yes it would be bloody and if the new goverment is corrupt or too unstable it might take years, USA sould mainly try to rebuild most of it's economy, lucky for them they are closer to the USA so investment would be easier compared to iraq.

@KaiserMattTygore927 islam is a lot like socialism, also these countries have cartels, corruption and huge racial diversity which are prone to unstability, you dont see this as often in say german dominated towns in argentina. US corporations barely exist in south america, except perhaps in banana's it's their goverments and the CIA that largely destroy their economies. to be fair the USA war on drugs has been the foundation for the cartels to thrive and the secret service in the USA uses profits in the drug trade to fund terrorist activities to keep them off the books.
