  2.  @eksiarvamus  what hostility? I can understand the need for having an army and not being weak but I think we as in the west, esspecialy the USA have been very hostile towards Russia which they respond with hostility as well, rather then trying to westernize Russia, trade and bring them more towards our sphere of intrest we have engaged in hostile actions, supporting coups, sanctions, constant media demonization to the point of pure bigotry and racism towards the russian people and as a result brought Russia, China and all the other enemies of the west closer together. from my perspective it seems like the USA wants/needs hostility to justify the existence of NATO, which they use to extend and use their military force for their own gains while endangering NATO allies in the process. imagine if Russia wanted to be closer to the EU and be less fearfull of western aggresion would we still even need NATO? that seems like a huge lose to US power projection.
