  28. Guys cheat because they don't have enough options from ages 0 to 30 and we have a higher libido on average. After 30 (once you've got more money, basically) women suddenly show more interest, so being limited to one woman, when she easily had multiple options from ages 0 to 30 and more chances to find out what she really wants/likes feels unfair, and like God is laughing at you. The difference in mate availability fuels the perceptions men and women have on dating... The fact that women have such high availability of suitors is another reason they reject men with little to no thought about his emotions. If he breathes wrong, "she deserves better..." If you dump a guy, there are at least 30 more lined up, so why be nice when you don't have to be? Men don't have that luxury, and are quite lucky to have even 1 or 2 girls lined up after a breakup... Guys basically get shafted in the "monogamy" arrangement and we all pretend like it doesn't happen. We pretend that men and women have equal opportunity, when we clearly do not. OKCupid actually did research on this and published a book on the disparities in perceived attractiveness. So in the end, cheating will always be a thing, because most men are desperate by comparison — regardless of how much we try to hide it with stoicism and machismo. Unless you find a unicorn woman that understands what men deal with (you won't), these relationship "problems" will continue to rise until men and women cease dating altogether. Try to understand humans as we are, not and not as we "should" be.
