@Lestergreen77 yes there are several clubs within about an hours drive of him.
1
No, but I’m sure he is fine if he does. Eddie is challenging him and if he must break him he will.
1
@yashgangal2845 no he wouldn’t. I don’t think he could do anything against Brian. But maybe you will wake up to reality in 6 days.
1
@Андрей-е2х2д Devon beat Ermes easier than Levan did. So Devon is far more of a threat.
1
@bergbilch yes, all kidding aside I find it really bad idea to have a new puller like Eddie do his first super match which appeared to be some very strenuous pulls and getting opened up a lot just 6 days before his match. Even experienced pro pullers whose arms are way more conditioned couldn’t fully recover to 100 percent in that time span. Any chance Eddie had of winning will be lost due to all the pain in his connective tissues… I was sore for about 6 weeks after my first pro tournament with serious ready go’s and I wasn’t injured, just banged up.
1
@kaloyanshalamanov2434 this is almost right after Devon tore his bicep wasn’t it?
1
@DarthAdriann I didn’t know they were training together currently. I thought this was old footage. They trained together shortly after Devon’s bicep tore even before he faced Prudnik I believe.
1
@kaloyanshalamanov2434 the very first time he faced Levan.
1
@OttawaInHD yeah a little far today but I prefer that over no one doing anything and acting emotionless. He needs to find a little more of a balance.
1
@cajonesalt0191 people aren’t going to all act like Devon lol. I have never seen any young guy at the competitions I go to act like Devon even if he’s the reason they got into the sport. I think that isn’t a realistic thing to say honestly.
1
@ yeah because Travis has been retired for years now.
1
Possibly but even if his muscles get to 100 percent of the strength he had hypothetically he will still lose power on the table. You can’t generate as much back pressure or pressing strength and other things if you are at a lighter body weight because the weight works with you. It isn’t just about muscle.
1
Yeah he has made plenty of videos stating this already.
1
Yet you are here watching lol.
1
@StoneStraiff Vitaly could barely beat Dave Chaffee who Devon crushed and Ermes who Devon crushed beat Vitaly so this is absolutely silly.
1
@danpats1 yeah. Denis is quite a bit younger than Devon and look what happened to him. And he was much smaller and lighter than Levan.
1
@mrfrupo yes, I know. Another thought is he stays at 115kg or so and accepts matches with heavier guys but make them agree to a weight cap. He could even tell Levan if you want the 3rd match then I’ll be at 115kg and you just need to be under 300lbs.
1
Based off of his form in this video is doesn’t surprise me. Levan could probably lift 140 kg this way.
1
@markbanner6473 could you imagine if Devon comes and Brian is just pinning him with ease already 😂
1
@ I don’t speak Turkish. What did he say?
1
@jbrisbois777 haha. So that is why he always has the most pay per view sells, his match is always the most watched, he has the most social media followers by far and he gets paid the most out of any arm wrestler on the planet per match. You are either mentally slow or trolling.
1
@ hahaEngin always curses, that is why his nickname is the enigma of rage😂 that is literally what he is known for! By the way I don’t speak Turkish what is he saying?
1
@ you were right, Engin said he was mad at Devon.
1
@fultheim3580 yeah he’s definitely not arm wrestling ready. I think what this persons saying is his tendons are way ahead of the average joe entering arm wrestling. He definitely has atleast a head start in the tendon department.
1
@chrisw5742 any arm wrestler will tell you this. Obviously he will adapt easier to arm wrestling than the average person because he definitely has well developed tendons. But the angles of arm wrestling and the torque it puts on your body is very unique. I was an athlete my whole life and competed in powerlifting but when I first got into arm wrestling I felt weird pains in the tendons that I had never experienced before. Brian will have the same just to a lesser degree.
1
@chrisw5742 most wouldn’t have the strength to apply the technique even if they knew it. And as someone who has been arm wrestling for a while and seen a lot of new guys come in to the sport. I have yet to see someone who knows perfect technique somehow just being brand new. I’m not saying it’s “impossible” as anything is but it’s HIGHLY unlikely.
1
@chrisw5742 well the fact that you say “the technique” lets me know you don’t know how to arm wrestle at a high level. There are multiple main techniques and variations of those techniques in arm wrestling. No one is going to become proficient in the many techniques without some time in the sport.
1
It will be sooner than that. I say within 2 years. It will take a while though to get any better than barely cracking top 10 after that.
1
@timothyharrison-l9h this isn’t dumb. It’s just a probation lift with a weight. Only difference is it adds some instability. And it’s for recovery so it’s light. It’s not like he’s doing maxes with it.
1
@MrNilion you clearly don’t know Brian Shaw at all.
1
@ricardoxot Vitaly does not have a stronger grip than Brian. Brian has arguably the strongest grip in the world.
1
@pnwdweler4100 he wouldn’t even make it close to the end.
1
@airgunningyup I don’t think he would beat Derek right now. I do think he would have a really close match with Chance Shaw though. Within a year he will be able to beat Derek if he wants I bet.
1
@ his arm wrestling lifts aren’t 99 percent stronger lol. I do agree he is probably stronger overall than the top arm wrestlers. But it’s about specific strength. That will take some time to develop but he can do it with time. How much time who knows.
1
@ yes, if you could design an arm wrestler in a lab the would have the genetic and mental strength of Brian Shaw for sure. The only thing other guys will have on him is experience age and time in the sport.
1
@StevenRayW so do you honestly think if Levan cut down to the same weight as Devon he could beat Devon? Lol
1
@StevenRayW he didn’t say weight didn’t matter in arm wrestling. About a hundred times in the build up he mentioned the weight disparity. What he said was it didn’t matter in this match that he was going to beat him anyways. Devon has beaten a lot of bigger opponents. And Devon personally felt like he was stronger than last match even though he was slightly lighter. But to say 130lbs extra weight isn’t an advantage is silly. And if you aren’t intelligent enough to decider what Devon meant then you won’t be able to comprehend my simple explanation. And Devon isn’t a lord or hero only Jesus Christ is. He’s just an arm wrestler.
1
@DT_Worlds_Strongest_Goth yes his genetics were preventing him from gaining weight along with a desire not to almost die at 37 like Denis cyplenkov did or like Levan almost did against ermes. And you can have whatever opinion you want but a heavyweight belt is a big accomplishment. You couldn’t even hold the light welt belt regardless of how big you get so Devon has accomplished more in arm wrestling than you ever will. You must have a sad life to take the time to attack someone who has more arm wrestling accomplishments than you could ever dream.
1
@brandonerwin7031 yeah, Levan is head and shoulders above anyone in the supers and Devon is head and shoulders above everyone in the heavies. It’s going to be dominant for both guys in their perspective weight classes.
1
And it didn’t work. It’s obvious to me Brian will beat him easily. But hey, I would love to have it be close.
1
@TimeRift609 yes Devon could have easily pinned Brian most likely but he’s so many levels ahead of Neil he is #2 in the world. Neil is old and decades retired.
1
Why does Jerry look like a baby who is a science experiment of juice.
1
@Lotofhand we never saw him face prime Devon on the right arm because Denis dodged that match and demanded Devon’s injured left arm.
1
@Lotofhand your sentence didn’t even make sense. Devon’s right arm wasn’t injured. Devon wanted a right arm match in 2018 but Denis refused, he would only pull Devon left and Devon just had a serious surgery on his left elbow and it still wasn’t healthy. This is fact. You need to get your facts straight. Denis refused to face Devon on his healthy right back then. Now they finally pulled right arm and Devon played with him. It wasn’t even close.
1
@mgu-vx4ib no, cracking someone’s wrist literally means pronating through it causing the wrist to bend back. It sounds like you don’t arm wrestle 😂
1
@Devnis807 Morozov literally said he knows he can’t beat Devon right handed a week ago in a livestream with Devon on engine channel. He said he needs more time. Even he knows you are dumb if you Think he could beat Devon on the right arm.
1
@ArmoredG he’s not as smart when it comes to the set iup. Devon’s table IQ is better than anyone’s especially when it comes to the grip up.
1
Eddie lost. He won’t do anything compared to Brian. He will be good but not great especially since he doesn’t train seriously.
1
No way Levan has much more at all left. He’s already starting to lose his pronator. The weakest link goes first. Devon’s failing point I think is more bicep.
1
@XYZZYX-g3l what are you talking about its the reverse? Are you trying to say Levan’s bicep is the failing point and Devons pronator is his failing point?
