No they aren't. And I really do not care for the term Afro-American the way it is used. In reality isn't some one whose forebears came from North Africa Afro-American.

  8. Personally I have no sympathy for anyone who has massive student debt and graduated with zero marketable skills or zero chance of finding a job in that field. If you want a degree in a field that has limited job* opportunities you really need to be told upfront about the employment prospects. You want a degree in Art History. Fine, just don't expect a job related to that. *OK. Professional career opportunities.

  9.  @Br3ttM  Then it's up to citizens of those counties to Elect DAs and Judges that do their job. The justice system is made up of 4 parts. The law enforcement dpts. The DAs office. The courts and the juries. I want law enforcement to be professional. I want the DAs office to do their job. And courts to do the same. I've been on juries and l have seen the automatically guilty or innocent jurors. Last jury l was on the judge came in and talked to us after the jury. One reason is because the accused (found guilty) was actually worse than we knew as there was a lot we didn't see. Assault with deadly weapon the same day he got out of prison from another offense. One problem they have in Milwaukee is the County Correctional Facility (1) is overcrowded so the DAs office is constantly doing plea deals. 1) Correctional my ass.

  14. Was the United States perfect at its founding? No. First we had the Articles of Confederation. Which was unworkable. Then we had a Constitutional Convention. Which was passed along with the Bill of Rights. Was that perfect? No. Have we gotten better overall? I would say yes. Is there room for improvement? Yes, there probably is. But the government cannot fix everything. Government can not do everything for us. First we have to fix ourselves.

  19. The time from when the officer gets out of the vehicle until the shots are fired is around 9 seconds. The officer literally had no time to even figure out what was going on when things went South. And when things went South it happened in a hurry. Plus, I wonder what the reaction of these geniuses should have been. If the officer was black

  20. Does anyone here remember when Trump was talking about Third World Shitholes. And the subject of American shithole cities came up. Specifically Baltimore. Baltimore was on the UN list of cities with major rat infestations. At this time there was a news story about one location in Baltimore that had a huge pile of garbage. Naturally this was drawing rats. The city wouldn't do anything. The property owner wouldn't do anything. And the residents wouldn't do anything. Well they all did two things. Ignore it and point the finger at somebody else. Plus they kept throwing more trash on the pile. It got cleaned up eventually. Not by the city. Not by the property owner. Not by the residents. But by volunteers from outside of Baltimore who spent their own money and devoted their time to do something. I wonder what it looks like today.

  25. I etopped by my local pharmacy to pick up a perscription the other day. They were getting a delivery some of which was going to the pharmacy area. The delivery vehicle was left open in the parking lot unattended and undisturbed. This was in the same city that saw "fiery but mostly peaceful" protests in August 2000.

  26. During the 2020 Summer of Brotherhood it was Black owned businesses getying torched too. I think its a matter of if they have and i don't its going to burn.
