I had a similar one in London. I asked an American woman if it was her first time in England. She replied "I'm not in England, I'm in British"

My mum was treated for lung cancer. Fast and efficient is how I would describe it. Also I recently fractured my pelvis in a motorbike accident, again the treatment was superb and no bill at the end of it. I'm still having physiotherapy every week. I honestly can't fault it if I'm honest.
7
I saw it. Americans were probably very confused ๐
7
In the same way American isn't a language ๐
7
Old people like automatics too ๐
7
You would think they would learn Spanish and French as a minium. English too if we're pushing it ๐
7
Typical American behaviour ๐
7
Wow what a crazy shop. As someone who isn't an American it's seems insane. It's like going back in time to the 18th century lol
7
Apparently it's optional. Which would explain a lot.

I've had the same argument with Americans before, but they refuse to listen and insist they're right. Even when I told then I lived in England in a place called "Sandwich"๐ He still said I didn't know what I was talking about .
6
Yes, Turkey in the UK, and eaten on Christmas day. Same goes for opening the Christmas presents. I know some countries celebrate on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas everyone!
6
ย @Prof.Dr.Diagnoseย yeah I recall hearing something along those lines but wasn't 100% sure. Regardless they still think they're world champions lol
6
Same ๐
6
So is football ๐
6
It certainly isn't English.
6
I remember telling an American, that nobody in Britain lives very far from the sea. He replied "You must all be good swimmers"
6
โย @killzoneisaย yes they're the culprits. They practically open everything, and take whatever they fancy ๐
6
My mates mum had a mini back in the day. She used to take us to Rugby practice. Her and 4 passengers, varying from 6'4 to 6'8. As you can imagine it was a bit cramped ๐๐
6
If it's only a few minutes to school, why can't the children walk?
6
Yes the licencing system in Europe is way tougher and expensive. I don't drive a car but do have a motorcycle licence. That was a very long and expensive process. Apparently in the US the bike test is basically the equivalent of our CBT. That's even if you have to take one, I've heard in some places it's basically filling out a form. No 125cc learning over there.
6
If the only decent bread Americans can get is frozen, I'd give up bread๐
6
Haha seen it too. No wonder they didn't like it ๐ Also seen them try steamed puddings. Cold.
6
ย @ogribiker8535ย don't expect everyone to get all of them. But Poland, come on.
6
British isn't a language, it's just English. In the same way it's just Welsh, not British Welsh.
6
The Edinburgh one is very stereotypical American. Practically all American tourists ๐๐
6
How can anyone think the Beatles were American? ๐๐
6
My garden shed has a better window than that American one๐ I didn't realise single glazed was even still a thing.
6
I've got used to them now. Don't even really notice them tbh.
6
Multiple guess
6
โย @wessexdruid7598ย I'm all for the Union, it's the Scottish and the Welsh who seem against it the most. Still doesn't make English their language though ๐
6
โย @Thelemorfย America is a country in the continent of North America. United States of A......
6
I've heard plenty of crazy things Americans have said. But the Titanic one. Wow!
6
Tbf it was an American. They've probably never seen a passport before ๐
6
He is European, he just wasn't born there.

ย @anserbauer309ย I know, the whole Irish thing is very strange. My cousin works in a restaurant and for St. Patrick's Day they were packed. He had all sorts in from Mexicans to black people, all claiming to be Irish ๐ค Getting back to his wife, her mum is German and her dad is half Greek half Romania, apparently, so I don't know why she claims to be Greek anyway. Apparently they all speak Greek at home, go to their church and celebrate the Greek holidays. As you say, very bizarre indeed.
5
And the UK. Partly.
5
ย @jars6230ย when my cousin lived in the US they automatically ask for ID. He's nearly 60 ๐คฃ๐คฃ
5
A grill is just part of the barbecue. Like bar is part of a pub.
5
โย @marklar7551ย I've seen a few DNA reveal videos, where Americans, adamant they were Irish, were in fact British. Mostly with English as the highest percentage.

5
ย @afiiik1ย Exactly my point.
5
It didn't work due to the time difference ๐
5
Many Americans still think English is their language.
5
There's far too many to be a coincidence ๐ Plus have you seen Americans being interviewed in the street?
5
Fried cheese? As they make it in a frying pan.
5
Original English version ๐
5
Sounds like a great weekend ๐
5
He is a European ๐
5
ย @fireheart6267ย yeah, loads of kids are being shot in schools all over Europe ๐
