  3. ​@stevenpaulgoulding 🙄 I'm going to express an analytical opinion here! 🙂 As a student of religion, politics, and the history of ideas (and much else besides) it is my analysis that socialism (particularly democratic socialism, or utopian socialism, as opposed to Marxism) is much more like early Christianity, than it is to something that is either race-based (like fascism) or class-based. It is a universalist belief (offering universal salvation 🙂) and a CONVICTION based ideology. All you have to do is to fall in love with the basic ideas, (as a teenager or whatever) and avow your allegiance to them - and bam, YOU ARE A SOCIALIST! 🚩❤ What do you think, Damo? 🙂
