  9. @AlexSmith-gr4hp  You can "separate" plastic bottles too! OBVIOUSLY. The only things you can't, are mixed materials. Like cardboard and plastic. Cardboard and foil. (Certain drinks containers.) Stuff like that. Honestly, I do think most of this is just a right-wing conspiracy theory. 🥱

  12. I'm in the UK, and I think we reuse recycled materials. (There are even companies who advertise this on their bottles etc.) Your American companies are just lazy, I think. Plus: this is a problem of capitalism..*If the government wanted to force (and subsidise) the use of recycled materials, it could* . 🙂♻️👍

Incidentally, to explain someone's behaviour is not necessarily to justify it. (Though I do think the younger generation is being somewhat stupidly - anachronistic, would I think be the word - to expect oldies to share all the trendy (and often a bit hysterical!) attitudes of today! Why would they? They were formed in a different time.
