  9. Well, Richard: I am currently on one of the three! You are not a doctor: so you have no right to pronounce on this medically, if you don't mind me saying so! Why are you going on about American "feeding events"? Don't the British traditionally stuff their faces with tea and biscuits, elevenses and all that? In fact, I really don't know why Brits in the old days weren't all fat. The amount of starch I know they ate! I suppose they depended on world wars to starve them back down again... 😏 But of course you shouldn't be on a medication like that without medical advice and medical supervision! (Ie, if you already have medical conditions, which I for one do.) Tbe worrying thing about this is that the GOVERNMENT is talking about handing this out willy-nilly! For economic reasons, not medical. That is wrong. Anyway: the drugs are already in short supply, and if the UK government tries to prescribe them, they will just run out even sooner! 😏😏 And thus deprive us who really DO need it!

  12. Hope Labour (when they inevitably get in) will be doing something about all the stinky sewage polluting our waters and our beaches. (They certainly seem to be suggesting they will, in many of their PPBs that I've seen. Mind you, I do live in the South West!) I will be voting Green.💚 And I don't believe in Rachel Reeves' excuses. 👎

As to neoliberalism: why don't academics just debunk it, as a system? Enough effort has been put forth by right-wing academics, historians etc to debunk Marxism.😏
