But first of all, because they knew how ridiculous calling Corbyn a racist sounded, it was like they were saying that he was negligent and naive about underestimating its prevalence in the Labour party. Then, when they saw what success they were having, and what an easy ride the media were giving them, the anti-Corbyns came right out with the absurd accusation "he is a racist and an anti-Semite". 😏👎👎 ALL because they couldn't bear a challenge to their beloved neo-liberalism. 👎

  18. In THE USA, a society not known for its love of regulation, a building the height of Grenfell Tower would require two emergency staircases, no ifs, no buts. Whereas in the UK it was only legally required to have one. 😏 And that one was partially blocked by junk. 😏 Thank you anyway, George, for continuing to point out this injustice and negligence. 👍

But IF a large number of white working-class voters in marginalised constituencies hadn't listened to the siren calls of the likes of Nigel Farage and the Daily Mail and the Sun, THEY could have still put you into No. 10! And things would have gone MUCH better for them, and the rest of the many, if they had! 😏 Yes: I think we can probably blame the press... And the terrible state of education in this country. AND of course (which you are today not harping about, but I think you should) the terrible, arrogant, Blairite right of your party, who would rather the TORIES got into power and wrecked the country, than that Labour should win power, with a democratically elected left wing leader.

I think that they - like the old Liberals such as David Steel, and like so many on the left: Corbyn, Livingstone - just prefer fairness. Non-discrimination. He has ruined the Labour Party: both intrinsically, and from the pov of all who want real change. The Murdoch et al press - and the English establishment in the form of the BBC - don't want any common ownership, or anything like that, that will be in the interests of the working class. They are obviously not prepared to allow anyone in as Prime Minister who is anywhere to the left of Tony Blair! They even mocked Ed Miliband. But IF the masses of the working class didn't allow themselves to be fooled... Bought off by Brexit. Things would be a lot different. 😏
