  1. Oh, oh, temperature. I do measure it frequently, from just south of the Arctic circle to the Equator (Finland to Singapour). And recently most commonly in the Middle East. And yes - the "weather" report temperatures are 'shaded' within a louvred box called a "screen" these are the white boxes - you often see. However, anecdotally, in a July afternoon around 25N I went from inside surface temperatures of 23C to 35C and 42C in the shade - but also 105C surface temperature on the black block pavers in the full unshaded local road. A few years later on a different site - but not far away we were recording 53C in August. Love it - keep up the good work. Illegitimi non carborundum.
