Funny how the Japanese press works, you turn up as a journalist at the behest of a politician, a company or a government institution, you get "the speech" then report that exactly and don't question the politician or spokesperson but write down what is dictated to you there. The next thing you know all Japanese "News" ⬅(and i use that definition of that word liberally here) outlets have the same story written exactly the same, even their conclusions/comments or side notes are very mutch the same all around (non critical, no color to them at all). Very mutch the same as in South-Korea or North-Korea and Hong Kong.
