I'm mean for someone claims they know what the majority of Russians think it should be a fairly simple question. Western propaganda, such as what? Back into 2014 Putin did his own version of propaganda doing best to convince Russians that the West was a threat and that he was their salvation. But what exactly was the threat? It was a purely fictious invention by Putin..... There was no threat, it was just his way of convincing the population that the tightening of their freedoms was necessary. As I suspected you haven't spent a day in Russia, you have absolutely no idea what it's really like and how they really view the West and it's culture.

Yes businesses are closing down, some due to the virus some due to the fact that they failed to adapt to the times. I don't see why there should be a fundamental change in the economic system. Russia apparently has gold reserves but it hasn't prevented another collapse in the ruble. The problem Russia faces is without a strong economy in the West its primary exports will suffer and hurt the economy as we're seeing now.

At what point did Ukraine ever threaten to remove the Black Sea Fleet, also I highly suggest you read the Black Sea Agreement between Russia and Ukraine. Millions of ethnic Russians may live in Ukraine, but they are Ukrainians. Millions of ethnic Russians live in the the Baltic states which are members of the the EU without any problem, they actually enjoy many benefits from this. Your claim that Ukraine is the 2nd most powerful post Soviet state is pure fiction. Why would Ukraine joining the EU have any affect on oil supplies to Europe? So a change in government justifies insurrection? Is that how democracy works now in your world? Russia sent troops into Eastern Ukraine not advisors. You've made a pitiful attempt to justify the actions of Putin in regards to Ukraine, comments that show your complete lack of understanding of Putin and Russia.

The oligarchs were too poweful? So why more than 20 years later are they still in Russia? The muslim migrants are used as cheap workers, only a fraction are deported for the news cameras. There are fewer now because the Russian ruble has lost so much of its valule not because of deportations. You can find videos and websites to suit any agenda.....

Kaspersky computer software is widely available in the West, many Yandex apps can easily be downloaded in the West, you are again talking nonsense. No a relatively small number of ethnic Russian people live in the east of Ukraine, but a larger number in Crimea. I've already pointed out that that ethnic Russians living in the the Baltic states have no problem living within the EU and have actually benefited from this as would those in Ukraine would have if Putin hadn't interfered in Ukraine. Putin did so because he feared losing influence and control of Ukraine. I'm already aware of the Russian pipelines in Ukraine that serve Europe, you have not given any explanation as to why an EU association agreement with Ukraine would have any affect on this. The democratically elected president had been elected because he had promised to sign the agreement with Europe. He was forced to change his mind however due to direct pressure from Putin. One example was Putin claimed that if Ukraine signed the agreement then Ukraine could not trade freely with Russia because of this. However Putin was happy to discuss free trade with Turkey who already had an association agreement with the EU..... Putin lies. When did I claim to have a God like knowledge of Russia and Putin I've never claimed to be Russian. 😄 I haven't just visited Russia once or twice, I've done far more than that. I remember life in Russia before 2014 and I've seen what it has become since. One thing is clear your knowledge is based on no real life experience in Russia.
