@juliannaoprea650 I give a negative opinion of Putin and his government, there's a difference
2
@kromm-li7ek Putin has always tried to influence and control Ukraine, that's just a fact. The west is plundering Ukraine? Really, how? Why was Crimea never supposed to be part of Ukraine? Can you provide proof that Zelensky has a policy of ethnic cleansing? No of course not because it is a lie. However the same cannot be said about the situation now in Crimea. Did Putin sit back and do nothing when Chechnya tried to leave Russia? Yet you think that it is OK for armed forces to take Donbass from Ukraine... yes? I suggest you look into the Ukrainian economy before claiming that they have been betrayed, it is now stronger than before and is predicted to keep growing. Sorry if that truth upsets you 😄
2
@Ilamarea he's not Russian
2
@comrade9374 nope ....you won't
2
@e3498-v7l so why was the Ryanair flight diverted from its planned flightpath?
2
@e3498-v7l well you're making the assumption that it was diverted by the civilian ATC and not the military yet we know that the Ryanair aircraft was escorted by a fighter jet from its planned flightpath, is this what you consider normal ATC procedure? The Ryanair aircraft was unlawfully diverted from its planned destination while in transit...... that's the dictionary definition of being hijacked
2
Yeah UK is such a terrible place, funny how many people from Romania and Bulgaria have chosen to live there
2
Russia isn't a NATO member and niether is Venezuela..........just to name two
2
@VvvV no wealthy nations have a history of giving financial support to poor countries. How exactly would the EU giving Belarus money move Belarus closer to Russia?
2
so you want to ban all leisure activities now?
2
@Tekton177 seriously where did you learn English that badly?
2
@Tekton177 considerably higher than yours apparently
2
So you know what they did?
2
@claus-not-santa you do know she's Russian so has the right to speak
2
@mijicmugendo yes really.... Putin made the threats back in 2014/5 when EU countries tried to use their gas supplies to send gas to Ukraine
2
@greorbowlfinder7078 not really spent any real time thinking it through have you
2
@greorbowlfinder7078 Stone tablets? When were you last in a school. Kids shooting each other? So in what way exactly would being educated remotely change that? What old system? You mean the one that works? The In the real world a teacher can physically see the children do the work, using your idea they can't
2
@Soraviel not really there's no shortage of countries that tried communism and failed including the USSR
2
@mijicmugendo Have you lived in Russia? I guarantee Putin will find an excuse to switch off the pipeline in Ukraine and Germany despite it's promises will do nothing. This is the only purpose of Nord-Stream 2
2
@mijicmugendo Did I claim Russia was a superpower? It has a large arsenal of nuclear weapons including submarines that are nuclear powered and carry missiles. It does have the largest military in Europe but mostly served by conscripts with ageing weapons. But Europe is not going risk a war with Russia in any case. The EU has already put many sanctions on Russia but this has not changed anything. They can add new ones but this will not hurt Putin and he will as usual blame any economic problems on the west not on his policies. Germany relies far too much on Russia gas now.
2
@kabzaify They should expect compensation for the territory stolen by Russia, plus the real enemy of Ukraine is actually Putin. Exactly what choice do you think Ukraine made?
2
@jamesbond4810 so you're claiming all of the tests results data we're given on the various vacancies is nothing more than a global conspiracy?
2
Fukushima had a lo to do with it
2
@TheCelestialvision You seriously think I don't know what caused the disaster at Fukushima? The point is that was the catalyst that saw Germany turning away from nuclear, when things go bad at a nuclear power plant they tend to go very bad
2
@TheCelestialvision you're completely missing the point, at no point have I suggested that Germany is likely to be hit by a tsunami, the point is nuclear power is incredibly dangerous. No Germany buys electricity from France, it does not buy nuclear energy.
2
@davidnoelfranks1124 no they didn't invade, don't bother trying to be clever because you're not
2
@davidnoelfranks1124 he has been charged and convicted of a crime in the UK, now stop wasting people's time with your ignorance
2
@eugeneheeger3284 so why does Russia fear it so much?
2
@nyebe6598 for someone who claims to have knowledge about law should at least know there are consequences when you break them
2
@empe3332 they've been using gas supplies for economic blackmail for years, it's time to stand up to him
2
And you've personally seen this? 😂
2
@Rob I have and there was fuel at the petrol station and no empty shelves
2
@OoLiiMiiT3D and your medical training consists of what?
2
It's not an implication it's the truth, it's for the exact same reason Putin has so many meetings with Xi Jinping. Putin likes the domestic audience in Russia to see him with the leaders of the most powerful economies. I think he's still upset about being kicked out of the G7
2
@TheToomykins Central Africa isn't a country, Russia has a limited presence there either way, but it isn't likely to last much longer because of China. What is Russia doing in Syria, simply helping a dictator remain in power. That is probably what the differentiates Russia from the west, their desire to keep in place dictatorships..... but is this Russian values or just the values of the leadership? No it is just a regional power, with a shrinking influence, it has happened in much of Eastern Europe and it will continue to do so
2
@kovauo1180 Ukraine has the right to join the EU if they choose, it is not Putin's decision. You only need to look at all the former Soviet republics and Warsaw Pack that have joined NATO to understand no further no one trusts Russia
2
@kovauo1180 you need to buy a map Ukraine does not border the Mediterranean Sea. You have no idea what you're talking about, Gibraltar is British territory it is not Spanish. The Crimean peninsula is Ukrainian the fact it is occupied by Russia does not change that.
2
yes the US admitted their mistake straight away
2
Yes don't bother Putin????
2
She wouldn't be the first German leader to be given such a position
2
@megetmorsomt China? Is that a joke? Why do you people keep thinking that they are allies? China will bleed Russia dry and ruin the economy.
2
@ThePaladino So if someone chooses to move into your house and they don't ask you.... you're happy with that?
2
@BB-bv6uq this has been going on long before Biden was elected.
2
@peppersghosttheater and exactly how has Russia suffered because of the US? Also aside from Iraq where a brutal dictatorship was removed, how has the Middle East suffered?
2
The one stolen by Russia
2
@ernstwiltmann6 exploit what? We're constantly being told Ukraine is an extremely poor country... So again exploit what?
2
@scratchy996 completely agree, as the younger generation comes through his popularity is definitely on the wain, but even older Russians are tired the poverty he has delivered to a country apparently so rich
2
@vesnatadic9740 your solution?
2
@jjtighe8628 Both military and civilian, it's not like Russia has denied they have troops on the the Ukrainian border, but if you want to believe some radom person making another unsubstantiated claim then go ahead
2
@jjtighe8628 again why isn't Russia denying that they have troops on the Ukrainian border? But of course you'll just try and be clever by asking pointless questions...... however trust me you're definitely not clever
