OMG!! What an intense situation to somehow inadvertently find yourself in through no fault of your own. It was like something out of some twisted horror movie. I was legitimately terrified for these poor people and was on the edge of my seat urging them to safety the whole time. How could something like this happen? Makes me think perhaps powerful firearms should be carried on the jeeps, to neutralize any threats from these wild and beautiful creatures, but only as a last resort such as this case.

Bob, I never thought about it like that. It's certainly something for me to ponder. I may have to watch the video again.
3
omg it's William Foulke. Unbelievable I saw him here on Kruger Sightings.
3
Bad mother. It's her fault and she should feel bad.
2
Every time I see Kruger has a new video up I just HAVE to click on it straight away. It really is amazing how many different types of interactions happen between the different animals on safari. It really is a wonderful youtube channel that just never stops delivering.
2
I totally agree. If that were me in the cars I would have insisted on helping. I can't stand how callous some of the people on youtube are with their "it's nature don't interfere" argument. Disgusting.
2
Mr Leprechaun No, not because it's cute. Because it's still a baby and hasn't even had a fighting chance. If this started unfolding in front of me, I wouldn't just sit there staring at it like a tourist. I would do something about it. I actually happen to have compassion, unlike someone we know. Troll.
2
ANB1988BNA Oh come on, people with your attitude are nothing new. Have you ever had an original thought or do you just repeat common cliches?
2
ANB1988BNA If nature works on instinct and my instinct is to step in and help then that's nature and how it works too.
2
NatTheCat91 LOL somebody commenting not to make a point of their own, but to try and put down others. Classic troll behaviour except you don't even put any effort in. 1/10.
2
They ned to make a safari where some of the animals are tame and you can get out of the car and interact with them. Or have a lion with its' teeth and claw removed and you can go in and pet it if you want lol. That would be pretty cool.
2
She sounds wonderful!
2
What I mean is right NOW we are better. We really do need to help them evolve in the same way we have. There is absolutely no reason they can't be our equals in the next century or so.
2
***** they won't get too far if the hippo has damaged the radiator.@Kruger Sightings, what damage was done under the hood to the vehicle in question?
2
I'm sorry I love all the animals on safari, but Buffalo are definitely the stupidest of them all. Such a dumb animal lol.
2
Hahahahaha. This video shows why both hyenas and wild dogs are far superior predators to a simple lion. There is no way hyenas or wild dogs would have allowed that meal a second chance.
2
Don't be so soft @Annie. This is nature in all it's glory. You can't tell me you aren't even the slightest bit curious because I know you are. On an entirely different note, can you tell me whatever happened to the livecam at the Djuma waterhole? I miss it so much.
2
@Annie-ZA 😢It really was a great community we had there. Oh well you take care too Annie.👍
2
Africa's number 1 predator! You will never see lions taking on 3 Rhinos.
2
I would fuck that cheetah up if it looked at me like that at 2:11.
2
Oh my goodness. This was just like something out of the movie snakes on a plane. I was legit terrified for this kudu. If I didn't see this video I wouldn't have believed it. That is one lucky animal.
2
Hahaha they are just like the girls from sex and the city.
2
Well I don't know about that. It seems like a fabricated story. I mean you never see these 2 mystery lions that were supposedly chasing it, and you aren't going to try and tell me they are invisible are you?. We will never really know what the buck was thinking, perhaps a moment of madness mixed with bloodlust? Perhaps this pride killed it's mother/father/sibling/friend and it was out for revenge? Either way a very, very foolish decision.
2
@Annie-ZA I promise i will Annie!!😍 Have also been waiting for the djuma cam! Hopefully it's back up soon!!!Take care and God bless!!!!
2
That was a brown hyena, a very beautiful and placid specimen. This video would have turned out very differently if it was a spotted hyena.
2
You have to admire the respect these lions give the buffalo after seeing it destroy the crocodiles in the water, THEIR OWN TERRITORY. Something tells me these lions and crocodiles won't be messing with a buffalo ever again. Especially that cowardly male that became visibly terrified and ran off at 3:13. He tried to act tough like he wasn't really scared but at 3:46 and 4:04 he is seen running for his life again. I'll bet he had to change his pants once the video cutoff.
2
Oh.....Silly me, I meant Tiger. Thx Annie :P
2
by about 30 secs.smh
2
At least somebody enjoys my comments XD!
2
Al Capone Hyenas hunt more than lions.
2
Oh Annie but you simply must. it's some of the most stunning landscape imagery. If you only watch the first 90 seconds you will be fine. I promise.
2
ioi989 Katherine is also a regular on the live safari drives each day. If you are a fan of African wildlife you should really check them out. New people are always welcomed.
2
Oh my goodness, such horrible scenes.I suppose this is what happens when there is a drought though. Animals become so desperate for food they will eat their own kind.
2
@GMM-j92 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2lwQZ9xovg
2
Not surprising the wild dogs and the cheetah lands their prey successfully.
2
Even the first car is like ok I’ve seen enough of this idiot cat. Let’s go look at the giraffes kids.
2
Hahahahahaha more evidence that the big cats of Africa are seen as little more than a joke by some of its other wildlife.
2
Totally agree Annie, it's been hard on me too. Not getting to chat with you. My one, my only.
2
Why hello Annie! Lovely to see you again, it certainly has been a while. How come you never called? Wonderful to see you are still a keen observer of the African wildlife.Well, take care and hope to see you again soon! 😘😘😜
2
@Annie-ZA Am so sorry for breaking your heart. It's youtube notifications never working properly. Surely you must know deep down it was never my intentions or my fault. What happened to our dating app the livecam????
2
It's not that they don't see them as a threat it's that they can't distinguish between the human and the vehicle. They think the vehicle is one big animal.
2
Where was the rest of the pride?
2
@Abdi-libaax It's a little known fact that hippos occasionally eat meat....And that tigers have in fact been found in Africa. Don't believe me? Google it yourself, you'll see.
2
Now Judith violence is definitely NOT the answer. 2 wrongs DON'T make a right. In this case education is the key.
2
The croc thought it was a eel poking it’s head out of a cave.
2
We ARE all good but I'm a bit worried you still haven't fixed the livecam issues yet.
2
Hahahahahahaha a simple crocodile is too much for this entire pride of lions. You can see the fear in the male when he escapes with his life at 1:58. These cats are better left to scavenging, not hunting. Carcasses don’t fight back.
2
Those lions are so dumb. They honestly thought that cat was a part of their pride until it got up and ran away. Oh well I suppose they are probably thanking their lucky stars it was a Leopard and not a hyena that was undercover this time. If thatwas a hyena running off to gather the rest of the clan that lion pride would have been done for. A fairly lucky day in the Kruger for these particular lions.
2
This was a brown hyena, an endangered species. The tour guide really should have shot that lion dead. There is no way that lioness would have dared attack a spotted hyena. If the clan was there, it would have been dead meat.
2
@Latestsightings Don't be sad lol. The community you have created appreciates all the time and effort for us. I'm sure they won't mind me speaking on behalf of them.
