Videos like this one are simply heartwarming. When an apex predator as ruthless as a crocodile catches something, then decides to show it compassion by letting it go is one in a million sighting. It's not often it decides it isn't hungry afterall so releases it back into the wild. It makes me ponder that perhaps the crocodile is a deeper thinker than we give it credit for. It also makes me think about my own life and realise that maybe, just maybe I don't need to eat as much as I do, and perhaps there are times where I could go with less and be more charitable with my provisions, possessions, and material items. P.S Credit should also go to the wildebeest, that never gave up and managed to fight to live another day. Such a strong specimen, I hope it has offspring of its own and teaches them a thing or two about survival, after receiving this lesson in life. As well as passing on its exceptional genes AND the lesson that crocodiles probably aren't as bad as they're made out to be.

Lovely to see you're still a contributor and important part of our small community Annie! Take care now.
4
lol dumbass lion. You would never see a bufallo dare try this on a hyena or a wild dog.
4
Another amazing sighting! Although it has happened before and I hav seen it a few times now it's not often you will see 2 known enemies having a fun play together. It's good to know that every now and then these spectacular animals can put aside their differences and let their hair down. Congratulations to the lucky safarian and a big hello to all my fellow KS enthusiasts! Keep up the good work!

Hooray for Kruger Sightings!! It really is the most wholesome, educational, family-friendly channel on youtube. I know alot of it's subscribers have found this channel and wildlife park to be their "home away from home". I will never stop marvelling at the array of African wildlife and the interactions they have with one another. Thank you so much for yet another wonderful upload, and to the generous people that send their videos in, on behalf of the fantastic community we have here, many who can't make the trip to Africa due to health or financial reasons and\or other commitments, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. So let's all raise a glass and hope that the videos we all love keep coming.

Hooray for Kruger sightings! If I'm not mistaken there seem to be more videos of lions looking really stupid than any other year! It would seem that hyenas and wild dogs are winning the fight as I always knew they would. Merry Christmas to all and a happy new year. Looking forward to more content in the new year. Thanks again @kruger sightings! Extraordinary work as always.

Incredibly this giraffe was in no mood for games today. I remember a KS video last year where a giraffe was allowing the lions to ride it for fun, it would appear these lions thought they could do the same again here before realizing the giraffe would be having none of that today, for whatever reason. If I had to guess I would say these were lions from the same pride and more likely than not the very same giraffe from last years sighting.

The lion can thank it’s lucky stars it was being attacked by buffalo, and not hyenas.
4
A sad day for this particular pride. There appears to be at least one deceased elly in the background. Still, the baby was ok which is a positive. Circle of life I guess, though I would be disgusted if it turned out to be poachers. Are they known to frequent Kruger NP? Once again thank you @Kruger Sightings for the upload, I always really enjoy them whether they are good, bad, or in this case ugly. God bless.
4
Horrifying! Those poor pups deserve better. I hope they made it to heaven. Bless.
4
Hahahaha! Just goes to show the lion is no match for a hyena.
4
What an amazing video. The lion is such an incredible animal. The way it roars ferociously to scare off any competitors. Oh no, there's no way they are going to be sharing that zebra with lions from another pride lol. One thing I don't like about them though is the way they target baby animals. It makes me think slightly less of them that they would pick on something so young that hasn't had a chance to live yet. They are, afterall, capable of bringing down much bigger prey. They should do that instead of going after the young ones.
4
Another simply amazing sighting!! I don't think a single leopard could have taken that WARTHOG down anyway. The leopard would have eventually run out of breath anyway and given up. Either that or the screams would have alerted the rest of the warthog pride and they would have come to the rescue and killed the leopard......A very daring cat now that I think about it. Daring, stupid, or starving.
4
Agree, they are so beautiful.
4
Sometimes prayer works Annie. God does work in mysterious ways.
4
Oh my goodness. I must say that it's rather cold and heartless to not help this poor baby animal. If I were there I don't think I would be able to help myself, I would simply HAVE to do something. Rather morbid that a living beings' death is used as a form of entertainment.

What an amazing encounter you have witnessed. It must be really fantastic to go on Safari. Although I feel very, very sad for the hippo I understand it is the circle of life and the lions do need to eat. Hopefully a Hippo can manage to kill a lion or two as revenge for its' fallen friend.
3
Mr Leprechaun omg you keep replying in every thread to me. Just choose one and be done with it. Nobody is impressed with you.
3
I wonder where the rest of the hyenas are? It would be easy for lions to come and steal that kill off just 2 hyenas.
3
In some ways they are better, for example: Police dogs and drug sniffing dogs and cadaver dogs most certainly serve a worthy purpose for us their masters and there are also guard dogs etc and anyway I don't see any animal as being better just different.. What I do know is that they make wonderful companions. My elderly neighbour has a beautiful daschund that she loves with all her heart. Her own family neglect her and hardly ever visit but I know her dog brings her much much joy.
3
😁Glad you enjoyed the video Annie! I also did.👍👍👍
3
What an impressive animal. But if this is your second incident, I have to ask- Whatever are you doing to make them so angry?!? Fooling around with African wildlife is not a smart move.Perhaps try to be not so confrontational.
3
@nazmulhuda5578 wrong. Why do you think the shot cuts off? The hyenas won this round, obviously.
3
Hi Annie! Hope you are well!!!! Lovely to see you again, take care friend.
3
Oh my goodness, one of the more horrifying scenes you could witness on safari. I must say it's unlike @Kruger Sightings to upload such a violent and bloody encounter too. This one was a real eye-opener.
3
@exsimon Excuse me but are you trying to make fun of me? Just because I think the Leopard is disgusting for eating what is very obviously a BABY animal? I repeat, a BABY. That is simply horrifying just so you know.
3
A bit sad really. It would have been so easy for the tourists to save that poor beast seeing as though they were so close. That kudu should never have been eaten seeing as the hum of the running vehicles masked that lion's approach......I hope it made it to heaven. A terrible day in the Kruger imo.
3
Do you people not see ALL those cars interfering with the hunt??!?! It's awful.
3
Another happy ending in Kruger! Once again wild dogs show they are a much, much smarter animal than a lion. Also while the wild dogs both looked healthy this lion's ribs were showing. It obviously had not eaten in a long time, and while to the untrained eye it looks like it had caught something, that's probably not what happened. Something tells me that the dog that was playing dead was just bait number 1. When the lion saw bait number 2 and took off after it I think it may have run straight into a trap set by the wild dogs. It would not surprise me one bit if that lioness became a meal for the pack. Such a smart animal, the wild dog.
3
those lionesses can thank their lucky stars that was a crocodile, and not a hyena.
3
funnyguyhahahaha According to the description this seems to be the unfortunate case. Although these particular people weren't there to witness it as they had to move on, other accounts are backing up your worst fears.
3
No, Hyenas scavenge less than a lion. Hyenas and wild dogs are the dominant predators of Africa.
3
Hahahahaha once again wild dogs show lions hey are a superior species.
3
Hahaha. Once again hyenas and wild dogs win the day! Notice there were no lions around? Only the dominant predators dare compete with he might and power of hyenas.
3
omg
3
@binalmistry Thank you so much! A very insightful comment. Helped to cut through alot of th bs in this thread. Really appreciate it. It sounds like you have seen some amazing things! Can I bother you by asking what is your all-time favourite sighting?
3
How fun! Such beautiful cubs too!
3
This warthog never stood a chance. Wild dogs are the most efficient hunters in Africa, followed closely by the hyena.
3
I’d say the rest of the clan came and scared them off. They would have run for their lives.
3
Amen. Thank you, friend.
3
Hooray for the might and power of the hyena! And 3 cheers for @Latest Sightings!
3
Haha haha don’t make me laugh. The male lion is too busy sleeping to do any damage to an animal as beautiful and graceful as a mighty hyena.
3
Hahahahaha. Even a prey animal is too strong for a simple animal like the lion. Perhaps it should set itself a more realistic goal, like catching a rat if a buffalo is too strong for it.
3
Hahahaha, well done to the lizard. If all animals in Africa behaved this way the simple lion would soon be shown for the coward it really is. The trick is to not fear them.
3
The hippo is terrified of the wild dogs. He throws them a bone so he can make his safe retreat back to the safety of his pride unharmed.
3
Sometimes hippos lust for a meat-based meal. But it was foolish for it to go after a crocodile, it's skin is waaay too tough for a hippos teeth to even puncture, let alone devour. Also that bull buffalo was probably twice it's size. If it was so keen on getting some meat it would have been better off going for either a lion or a tiger or a jackal...or the secretary bird seen watching in the background. Not to worry, it will be better off for this experience and will have learned it's lesson.
3
Hahaha. Those stupid lions best be clearing out before the matriarchs get there. No male around, the clan will kill them all.
3
zorpio lol so funny!
3
Always 1st Annie.
