"I drew down on him while you were hitting him" - earning the hate.
231
So the cops proved him correct. Good job, officer apple.
23
@rogusmith2630 Just can't stop the gypsy cop. retired today - re-hired tomorrow.
16
What's to explain? Guys doing exactly what his bosses want him to do and what the culture of law enforcement always does - oppress and abuse. And write lots of tickets.
14
That sheriff is like Eric Cartman and these folks didn't respect his authoratah!
13
And often the way they were raised.

Law enforcement officers are the state sanctioned enforcers of the social order and as such they have always known a culture of power, authority and privilege over the general public they are policing. It was a lot easier to be a bad apple when nobody had cameras in their phone and the ability to live-stream to the world. It has be very disconcerting to know they might not be able to cover things up with a throw-away weapon or bag of drugs tossed in the car if something goes wrong during the stop. That kind of power often corrupts to some degree or another and this cop is an example of why it's so important to be able to and keep on recording this kind of activity. The revolution may not be televised but it is being streamed. Power to the mother-loving people!✊
9
That's Missouri with it's Republican and Christian values for you.
7
These are the people Trump wants to make sure face no consequences for their actions. If for no other reason that would be enough for me to not want him in charge.
6
Giving this a like but I can't watch - makes me too angry.
4
@EODHammer Whether people like it or not, this is a political issue and Trump is especially guilty of excusing police misconduct and advocating for policies that violate our civil liberties, especially those of people he sees as not being on his side. I agree that establishment Democrats are all part of the problem too, but some of the more Liberal Dems have at least made an effort to try and limit the power of local police and reform policing in general. You can't say that about Republicans who are all much more likely to have that unconditional back-the-blue mindset.
4
@petergeh9584 and minorities, women, children and anyone in crisis. Not to forget their own families.
4
Regardless of whether or not they understand First and Fourth Amendment rights or other civil liberties or just don't care, hopefully some day we'll have people protecting and serving who aren't crap.
3
Racial profiling by semi-literate cops in West Virginia? Sounds about right. Get 'em!
3
@ Whatever you say bootlicker.
3
Even if he does (which he probably won't) there still isn't justice for so many others. It's been proven time again that he "justice system" protects cops and not the rest of us.
3
Everyone should show Dallas Campbell some love and subscribe to his channel.
3
I guess the driver should be grateful the trooper didn't empty his weapon into the driver too.
2
@ Helps me identify MAGA bootlickers like yourself, so it clearly does me at least some good.
2
@ Settle down there, kiddo. You'll get your panties in a twist.
2
Pucking figs - earning the hate.
2
Police in another podunk town in a Red state being the worst kind of people. I guess he should just be grateful he wasn't disappeared to an El Salvadoran prison.
1
Cops being thugs and bad guys just can't seem to stop themselves even when they know they are being recorded. The low IQ of these nitwits is astounding and pathetic.
1
That janitor should be able to comfortably retire with the money he gets from the lawsuit he hopefully brings against the Ashville police force.
1
They all need to be fired and sued.
1
"you weren't listening" - said every abuser of other people ever. Fucking cops.
1
4:4- cop grunting like a pig - when they tell you who they are...
1
I'd make a comment about this happening in Florida but cops keep earning the hate no matter where they are.
1
It's a shame we don't have a DOJ that will do an investigation into the entire Frankfort police department about all of this. If they won't protect us from predators then they shouldn't be shocked if people resort to protecting themselves.
1
Not just Kentucky but rural Kentucky. And doing the search in the middle of the night? It's like they're trying cause a problem.
1
Another victim of driving while Black. Good job, officer Apple.
1
Their main role has always been to collect taxes and revenue for the King and going after people who stole from the King. Us peasants have only been here to be fleeced and abused by them.
1
"Police" were always tax collectors for the king or other landed nobles. That whole "protect and serve" line is a modern invention to try and rehab their image.
1
Police need to accept that they are now always under scrutiny too and being authoritarian thugs is a bad idea.
1
This whole story just keeps getting more and more infuriating. It's a great example of all the different things wrong with every aspect of law enforcement.
1
Guess cops in Missouri don't do that whole protect and serve thing.
1
And it speaks volumes that there aren't any domestic violence shelters or social workers to provide services for people in crisis in that county but they've got money for those two heartless chaw-chewing chucklehead's salaries.
1
@EODHammer I absolutely agree that establishment Democrats like Clinton, Obama, Biden and Harris were all part of the problem too, but some of the more Liberal Dems have at least made an effort to try and limit the power of local police and reform policing in general. You can't say that about Republicans who are all much more likely to have that support your local sheriff, back-the-blue no matter what mindset (except for the FBI), and Trump really goes out of his way to push that nonsense. Whether people like it or not, this is a political issue and Trump is especially guilty of excusing police misconduct and advocating for policies that violate our civil liberties, especially those of people he sees as not being on his side. I don't think calling out the man for his BS is deranged and people who accuse me of that can pound sand.

I hate that we keep seeing stories of police brutality and the police don't face any consequences for their brutality.
1
He didn't respect their authoritah and comply with their demands by producing an illegal substance from thin air to prove them right. The one thing I'm sure of is that the cops won't face any disciplinary actions or be reprimanded or anything. Sure as heck won't lose their jobs or be disqualified to serve in law enforcement.
1
The hell?
1
That cops is the definition of scum bag and a good example of everything wrong with police in the US (and elsewhere).
1
"I understand that you are in distress but I don't care" - this kind of cop is why people hate cops. And their lawyer is why people hate lawyers.
1
Utah - Red state cops are the worst. Bully with a badge. "Obey me or else!"
1
earning the bird and the hate.
1
Another example of everything wrong with law enforcement. Hard to have respect for them when the keep doing such awful things.
1
No qualified immunity in Colorado
1
I expect that officer Brandon Momirov will face no consequences for his actions. Maybe someday we'll live in a world where when the police abuse us they will at the very least loose their jobs and be prevented from ever being police officers again, but I don't think it will happen in my lifetime.
1
So are the pay out settlements every time they get sued for violating someones civil rights.
