  35. Many local jurisdictions make building tiny houses very difficult at least in part because the property tax revenue is so much less. And then you run into problems of other home owners in the area who complain about the lower cost of the tiny home depreciating the value of the surrounding homes. You can do it, but you usually have to be somewhere pretty rural or find otherwise remote and/or undesirable properties usually off the grid.

I was thinking the OP just made a typo left the "a" off. It doesn't really matter since the overall intent of the post is both clear and accurate.
