The term "stupid civilians" get used by in the military and law enforcement. Tells you everything you need to know about how and what they think of the rest of us.

Everyone writing that Desi and Roy should be the new co-hosts aren't wrong, but why not have the best of both worlds and keep having the celebrity guest hosts too. There are hundreds of people they could bring on or bring back. I'd love to see Richard Ayoade hosting for a week. And Jon Stewart should definitely get a turn.

Ronny being ruthless - high thumb!
5
990.000-ish short of a million but who's counting?
5
And he's even got a degree in Journalism!
5
@tubester4567 How is what I said bullshit? Just because cops are more abusive and corrupt in many other parts of the world doesn't mean the ones here don't also have a lack of respect for the people they are supposed to be protecting.
5
When he repeats the question for the little old lady only more loudly - that really made my day.
5
Uckfay uoyay, Time Magazine. You're part of the problem with the US by doing that.
5
The hard Left is too. You just hear about them a lot less because they don't go on the Daily Show or take part in TLC and Discovery channel reality shows. And the left knows that when they prep they often get labeled as domestic terrorists by the Right so there's that much more reason to stay quiet. It's called being grey and it means not doing dumb shit like plastering NRA stickers on your truck and property. The right is serious, but a lot of them are seriously stupid.
5
Worst part is that even if Trump looses and doesn't run again the MAGA nonsense will still be around for years or even decades to come.
5
Freaking Santa Fe. Best place I ever moved away from. We used to think we heard La Llorona wandering along the Santa Fe River when I lived on Alto street but it was just sniffers and drunks down there.
4
If Biden can't run let's put Stewart on the ticket. It's worked pretty well for Ukraine and he'd shred Trump.
4
Broken and proud of it.
4
Well, at least all sane and decent American voters. Harris/Walz 2024 - hope and happiness and I'm here for it! We're not going back!
4
"That's so Europe" is the most American thing I've heard in days.
4
It's stalker talk so right up the dark alley that is Trump's brain.
4
My man George Conway - making the rounds.
4
you left out morally, emotionally, and empathically - probably some other ones also but those three for sure. Old Bankrupt Donny - stunted or lacking of most every quality that makes someone a decent human being.
4
@jessiwhitt870 That's definitely true. Tiny houses are weird because there are two varieties. I know the ones you can tow behind a vehicle are called tiny houses too, but I can't help but think of them as more of a home-made tow-camper. And someone is going to incur all those extra charges anytime they are towing a camper or tiny home or whatever. The whole RV/glamping lifestyle can easily cost thousands of dollars a month so I totally agree with you there.
4
Roy was 100% on point. Freaking Girl Scouts!
4
Triggered conservative snowflakes are hi-larious.
3
ALL HAIL THE ILLUMINATI! Lizzid Peeple rule!
3
"I can't breathe!" "That's because you have COVID, officer."
3
"I wish Tucker Carlson would go back to talking about which M&M's he likes to f<beep!>" 🤣😆🤣
3
And they just about all cheated on their spouses or worse. The lack of character is astounding, but that's part of why Trump picked them.
3
@RagunaRFF About this? Yeah, be a bigot.
3
I'd rather survive in the world and try to save it. Prepping isn't just guns and MRE's.
3
@tubester4567 You're whataboutism is pathetic and your words makes you look like the troll that you are. Glad I won't have to ever interact with you online again, stain.
3
@sleepinggiant4062 I don't know about unimportant, but to the people who to want make the gun violence go away those lives are certainly inconvenient. But now with the proliferation of 3-D printed ghost guns the problems with gun violence are not going to be solved by making it illegal for everyone else to own a firearm. It would be great to live in a world where people didn't hurt each other but that's not this one. As long as I can own a tool that has already personally proven to be an effective deterrent to an aggressor, then count me among the 72+ million people in the US who own at least one firearm.
3
Pandemmy? More like Pandummies!
3
@jessiwhitt870 Sorry but no. Unless you mean the price per square foot is the same, but even that isn't really the case since there aren't uniform building codes for tiny houses. It also makes a difference whether you are building a tow-trailer tiny house (which is generally considered a recreational trailer and not a living structure) as opposed to something that is built on a poured foundation or is anchored to a single permanent location. And since tiny houses are often built by the people who live in them, we'll see all kinds of cut-corners, use if reclaimed materials, and bailing wire and bubblegum building techniques to reduce costs that you can't get away with in the officially inspected single family home construction market.

There's only one top Eric and that's Eric André.
2
Undecided voters should just not vote. And stop taking part in focus groups.
2
More like Mike Hunt - at least in the sense that he is one.
2
Anything with footage from Animal House gets a high thumb from me.
2
Jake Tapper and the people at CNN aren't journalists any more than the people at FOX or MSNBC are - it's all infotainment. At least the people at The Daily Show are honest about what they're doing.
2
@starrystarrybee Perhaps it was a rhetorical question where the rules of punctuation are more flexible. While a question mark is most common, a period can be used in certain situations to convey a more assertive or statement-like tone.
2
@urkiddingme6254 He probably did - old Bankrupt Donny has never been the brightest bulb on the tree. Although he really is more like all the evil and troubles in the world that came out of Pandora's box so even though he got the metaphor wrong he kind of nailed it too. Broken clocks and all that what what.
2
I'm stealing that closing line.
2
Some may want a democracy but the majority support or at least tolerate a theocracy.
2
Gotta have J-Stew on. Even if it's just for one show.
2
Topper Gun sounds like a parody movie that I would totally watch.
2
@Marzipan_Rocks See, that's the thing. New Zealand is one of the most together and with it and right on nations in the world. If I had a choice of where I lived it would probably be New Zealand. Comparing your nation to most anywhere else is like comparing apples and horse apples (and I'm talking about 🐴💩 - not the large, wrinkled, inedible fruit of the American tree Maclura pomifera).
2
Ronny wasn't having it - this was hella funny!
2
I've got a lot of hope for next Tuesday that decency, sanity and Harris/Walz will win this thing. My fellow Americans - please don't let me down. And throw me a bone Texas - don't re-elect Ted Cruz.
2
Roy Wood Jr. and Jordan Klepper should be new permanent co-hosts of the Daily Show.
2
@1midnightfish Well said/written. If this was about a situation a country like China where there are literally hundreds of millions of men who will never have a girlfriend or wife because of the past policy of the state combined with cultural preference for males I would be lot more understanding of something like this or of using a physical AI android partner. But in most of the rest of the world that's not the problem. I get that I probably shouldn't be "bigoted" towards people who are using an AI creation as a replacement for a partner or friend, but that's a level of fragility that I'm just not sure should be supported or normalized.
2
@ Then in this case your assumption would be wrong. This isn't about about having an "ideal" relationship with another consenting adult, regardless of their gender identity, and more about someone avoiding relationships while pretending that they aren't. This more like someone who has an anatomically correct doll who acts like that is the same as having a real partner. Or someone who uses some other paid service but tries to argue that the person they are paying to spend time with them virtually or in person is the same as the relationship they would have with an unpaid person. And if you're going to be honest, I suspect we would both agree some relationships are clearly not ideal, like an adult having a romantic relationship with a child or with an animal, or direct family members being intimately involved with each other. We're all bigots about some things.

Move the "e" to the to the first letter and he's that word too. And there are other four-letter words that begin with "c", "f", "n" and "s" that would get this reply deleted or flagged on YouTube which accurately describe Stephen Miller.
2
He may have left Jonestown but he's still got the kool aid in him.
