;...tesla products are outdated decade old technology (e.g., only has cameras not even radar, no laser to detect other
objects).
Tesla self driving is only level 2, whereas Rivian is level 3 autonomy (on an off-road, you don't have to keep your
eyes on the road and don't have to keep your hands on the wheel).
;,,,...Rivian has 4 motors, others only have 1-3 motors. Rivian climbs up 100% incline at 45 degrees.

.Unlike Tesla, Rivian's customers can get the $7500 federal tax credit.

@shogoracing4294 For a sports car, I was 48 at the time and I got myself a new 2017 Corvette with stickshift.
Last weekend, I needed to replace my son's 12 year old Scion xb. So either I get my senior high school son a newer car or a luxury for my wife and give her 2014 Toyota Highlander to my son. We test drove the Alfa Romeo Stelvio suv and loved it (acceleration, handling, looks, blue color, price) but I got a little car sick as a passenger due to the stiff suspension (my head bobbled around like a bobble head doll). So we ended up buying a new blue 2019 Toyota Camry SE (awesome .88g handling) for half the price of the Alfa Romeo for my son.
This weekend, I will test drive a 2017 Porsche Macan (I'm interested in a v6 turbo, not 4 turbo) for my wife or we'll end up with a new coming soon in Q3 2019: 2020 Toyota Highlander (don't really want 3 rows, adequate handling, more fwy power for passing than VW Atlas) or 2020 VW Atlas Sport cross (2 rows, better handling, more upscale interior/exterior than Toyota, better ride than Toyota).
I test drove a new 2019 Audi Q7 with 3.0 supercharger but it had the worst lag (felt like 3 seconds) of any car I've driven with turbo.
I test drove a new 2019 Cadillac xt4 with 2.0 turbo but there was turbo lag.
I test drove a new 2019 Cadillac CT6 with 3.6L and I loved the performance but my wife (49) does not like the Cadillac stigma of an old person.
Sorry but no korean cars for us: kia, hyundai, genesis. Never again an unreliable Nissan for us.
I test drove the Jaguar iPace suv (2 rows) and while I loved everything about it, $70k is too much and ev is not ready for me until there's 1) infrastructure at every corner like a gas station 2) refuel in 5 minutes like a gas car.

,,...I love cars too (I have a 2017 Corvette C7 with the fun manual transmission) and stocks are one way to make money.
,.,.AMAZON:
Yep, I bought a ton on the dip. It's getting cheaper relative to its current earnings (half compared to last year).
Amazon invested $14 billion in the last quarter alone, the same as it spent in 6 months before that. It is a do not sell stock.
...With the Delta virus coming at full speed ahead, pandemic sales will make a comeback.
Amazon is investing so much money, that no competitor will ever be able to catch up.
Amazon's not going anywhere so I know that eventually it will come back.
Fidelity considers Amazon as a large growth company (probably because as big as it is, it still only has 7% of the retail market)
buying via Amazon Smile donations donates some money to my favorite charity too!
Get on board or be runover, it's up to you.
