...Tesla sells nothing that competes with Rivian; they have no pickup truck and the Model X is an obscenely expensive minivan with ZERO off-road ability. The Rivian R1S is a real SUV with serious off-road chops. Rivian has backers with an endless supply of money; Ford for expertise in building tough trucks and SUVs, and a real factory that they didn't have to build from scratch. Corvette Z06 would give you an extra 200 hp and you still have the targa top for more fun. Camaro is very nose heavy and feels too wide inside and the outward visibility is horrible; try pulling some food through the driver's small window at a drive-through.

I love the classic shifter as opposed to other manufacturers who get fancy with the automatic shifter and you have to learn where the P/R/N/D is located. Buttons in Honda are even worse because you can't shift by feel.

I've just test driven one. The regenerative braking kicked in when I wanted to coast felt like I suddenly hit the brakes making them feel grabby. No 12v cigarette outlet up front, only 1 in the armrest.

@RaitisRides corvette C7 with a manual transmission is the highest of all cars on the market. 30% of 2014 Corvettes had a manual then slowly dropped to below 20% in 2019. I bought my 2017 C7 Stingray new with a manual transmission.
