  1. I buy bags of dehydrated refried beans at Chef's Store - use to be cash and carry. Each bag makes 1/2 gallon but I only make a1/3 to a 1/2 bag at a time. I learned about them when I use to do the cooking at the old Rax Restaurant. I can't stand the canned refried beans - looks like dog food!

  5. just go buy readers since you don't wear them that often. I would love to but I have a stigmatism that means they won't work for me. You could have gone over and walked the Green River Trail. When we lived in Covington my daughter and I use to ride our bikes down the hill then ride along the Green River Trail.

  6. Could be salt content in the soy sauce. I am sensitive to salt so buy low sodium. Next time you get the soy sauce you like compare the sodium content

  7. Was trying to figure out where you were - thanks for telling. Lived in Burien for a number of years but never made it into West Seattle. The water taxi must be something new since we left the area in 1992. I'm with you - I like cheese sandwich. Also, tomato sandwich. Are cargo pants that popular now? I have not seen them in the store (Walmart) in a long time. Might have to check thrift stores.
