  3. The way the system currently works, it was Trump or Harris. Green wasn't a real choice, either. Advocate for ranked choice voting to break the two party monopoly, then you can actually vote your conscience instead of the least worst choice.

I think a lot of red hats have deluded themselves into thinking that they won't be affected, that their lives won't be affected.

Just because someone isn't saying "people with uteruses suck" straight to your face, it doesn't mean they aren't misogynistic. No one made Trump's laugh an actual talking point of the campaign, but people were actively saying that Harris' laugh annoyed them, like that is somehow a thing that makes her unfit for office. That's a dog whistle for misogyny. I could come up with half a dozen other examples, both in my personal experience and online, but I'm guessing from your tone that you'll find another reason to dismiss my observations.

They could have written in Bernie, or AOC, but no, there was a significant group that was fine with a Progressive woman to help make democracy happen, but can't give females too much power.

My guess is that the advertisers have requirements for how much time the ad should take as a percentage of the length of the video or something.

  34. My dad, heroically, brought me to see Supergirl in the movie theatre when I was really little. That movie is SO bad😂 I was SOOO excited to see it. I think I was five. That's what girl dads should do. They support their kid's future nerdiness and girl power, even when it means watching Supergirl. Also, he's truly a girl Dad-I have three sisters and no brothers. He was pretty good about not deliberately intimidating prospective boyfriends, but he's 6'4", so there was some definite looming and passive intimidation. 😂❤

Maybe try appealing to actual left wing base voters for the first time in almost fifty years. Take a page from the right wing, and motivate the base, but with possibility and change, not fear and hate. I'm going to try to advocate for a switch to ranked choice voting in my state. I'm about to research what it takes to get measures on the ballot for a vote. If we can break the back of the two party monopoly, that would help.
