  46. I used to read the biographies of very wealthy self-made men. Almost all of them had been bankrupt somewhere along the way, but they kept trying and eventually succeeded. The bankruptcy laws allowed that. In China, if you fail one time you are finished forever. As you say, that discourages progress because progress only happens when some people are willing to take the risk.
