We went from our first airplane to building the Saturn V rocket and landing men on the moon in less than a century. If a civilization exists somewhere that's been around for hundreds of millions of years we can't even begin to imagine what they're capable of. If we can find a way to exist that long as a species we will eventually be able to travel the universe grrleat distances. It's all just a matter of time really...
