Never married so no alimony, no kids so no child support, house paid for, cars paid for, my own hobbies with my own clique of friends and the freedom to go anywhere I want at anytime I feel. (work pending.) And when people, especially women try to shame you, belittle you are telling you it's not the norm, IGNORE them. Do what makes you happy and enjoy. Majority of them are jealous, bitter, miserable or all 3. Joker living his life the way HE wants. THAT'S freedom.

That ALWAYS brings out the quietest and humbled looks on their faces. As a 50 something now, I've NEVER understood how men who are married and constantly complaining about marriage or married life can honestly say that without single men laughing.

  7. About 30 years ago when I was 20, I remember at the store a random 50ish year old man was arguing with his wife. After she walks away, he looks at me and says "kid, the hotter a woman is nowadays, the less she is wife material." I never really understood that until later on in life. Seems a lot more relevant today.

Divorce, aunts controlling my uncles, cousins being suckered into marriage and kids because parents/grandparents tell us over and over "it's the right thing to do, settle down.". I feel so vindicated now after hearing all these/those horror stories from family, friends and other men in courts.

There was always a reason why for decades the men I'd meet would always say "marriage sucks". Either they got raked over the coals in divorce or the BS they have to put up with their wives. Biggest reason I didn't want to marry wasn't because I was afraid to get married, it was the fear of the divorce. Way too many horror stories growing up and older. But to each their own.
