This so reminds me of a family friend's daughter who is about to be 40 years old next year and for the last few years she has a Valentine's day party for herself and some of her other girlfriends. I've been watching/hearing about it for years and it's hilarious how much she plays victim about not finding a husband yet. Personally, I always think it's probably because she's a garden tool, WAY too clingy, wanting only the men SHE desires, really not that bright and my favorite, her mom has ALWAYS helped her in her life EXCEPT teaching her how to budget her money.

  19. 51 years old now, chased a dream playing minor league baseball for a few years, after that, busted my ass for about 20 years working 2 or 3 jobs. Semi retired now getting ready to collect a first pension, never wanted kids (wallet anchors), never wanted a gamble called marriage and now reaping the benefits of breaking my ass for years. If the times are going to get harder, I'm so glad I feel vindicated in making the right choices for myself.

Shocking, just another coping mechanism by women to deal with the fact that the majority of men would be settling for them if they weren't single. And besides, who cares? Men don't. We're tremendously happy doing that already, even though majority of people die alone anyway. Husbands usually die before the wife, so they'll still die alone or with kids if they care.

Sad part about this story is that if a man, especially a HVM that she'd want tells her no to a relationship, let alone marriage, because of her high body count, single mother story or just her views about young men, women will go straight to the belittling & shaming tactics on the man like "he's not a man if he won't step up for her" or "he's very insecure, who hurt him?". The shaming of a man with standards on relationships but she can have as many standards as she wants. She's clearly a pump and dump only at this point.   29. Problem also is these women want COLLEGE degree man cliche like a doctor, lawyer, athlete or politician. That is a small percentage of men with college degrees. I see many men/friends with jobs paying near 6 figures or well over 6 figures but women don't want those men because they have, as one women once told me, "dirty jobs". One is a diesel mechanic, one is a bridge painter/cleaner and another friend of mine is a high end car salesman. Great money jobs but it boggles my mind that some women don't want a man with that type of job.

I feel like Canseco after he wrote his book "Vindicated" after going a few decades of dealing with family, friends, co-workers & many women constantly telling me "You should get married, have kids, settle down." After many, many of these people are divorced, hate their kids, hearing about co-workers jealous of me now that I can retire at 54 and as for the women, of course I can see why THEY wanted to get married & have kids, they get all the benefits from breaking said government document that is a marriage certificate. But hey, to each their own.

Not going to lie, was nervous when I was younger & starting out but after hearing all the horror stories from relatives & friends about divorces, kids, in laws, their money was their wives money, etc, I feel VERY vindicated about my decision. Once in a blue moon I do wonder if I had caved to the norm where I'd be now, if I made a bad choice, but then I look at my bank account from the 80z28 & think,,,,,,,,,,nope!

As a 50 year old, I'm very glad & fortunate that I had male figures in my life to teach me many skills (car maintenance & repairs, electrician, basic house repairs & many more) that seem to be disappearing today from young men. I just saw a video on teasing people who didn't know how to use a can opener!!! And nice bus!! As long as the diesel pumps aren't empty, it's your house on wheels.
