  27. This has been America's long term goal to cut off Russia from Europe. America had coveted this market for itself so here we are. Nordstream 2 was built for Germany and approved by the Germans. However, America comes in and forced Germany to not use Nordstream 2 by sanctioning it. Nordstresm 1 was not sanctioned because it is needed by Germany and other European countries. If Russia was using their gas as blackmail, they would have cut off gas at the inception of the sanctions. Here now, the EU is boasting that they will cut off Russia's oil and gas by the end of the year. The EU president is frantically flying all over Africa and the middle east begging for oil. It's so stupid. Russia was never a threat, they were reliable trading partners. Whenever trade between countries end, it's a recipe for disaster.

Azerbaijan's supply is only less than eight percent of what Russia provide to Europe, same with Egypt and Israel. Russia supply 150 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe and Azerbaijan can only do about eight or twelve billion cubic meters. The EU is trying to patch up a 40% supply and can't do it. They need Russia's gas to survive. Russia is moving away from Europe slowly but surely. This partnership is over.
