Parents chose to have those kids.....let those parent pay for their daycare or take care of their own kids. Why should we the tax payers pay for their choice.

good. You shouldn't pull U Turns from traffic signals. Go a few more feet down the road...go into a parking lot and turn around from there. U Turns at traffic signals is danagerous.

What should people do? I think it is pretty obvious.....they should open their jackets really wide jump off their balconies and glide around like a bird. Or open their umbrella jump off their balcony and float to the ground like Mary Poppins.

More biased reporting by CP24. When something happens in Scarborough they put "Scarborough" in the title, description and repeat it as many times as they can. If anything happens anywhere else in the city they don't say the borough. Only the small intersection where it takes place. This report is a good example. When it was reported on TV there was another stabbing reported right before this story and they only gave the small intersection and you would not know where in the city it happened and it was a brief story. However when it switched to this story (next one) they say "Scarborough" over and over and have live reporters on the scene and say the small intersection....where that intersection is located to a major intersection etc etc etc. Scarborough is the largest borough. Brimley and McNicoll is closer to Markham then it is most places inside Scarborough. You can drive into Markham in about 2 minutes from there but it is a good 20 minutes to other places inside Scarborough. If you are going to report things then report them all the same. Either say the borough for all reports or don't say "Scarborough" for reports and only give the intersection. It is like CP24 doesn't know what the other boroughs are. They can never say "North York" or "York" or "East York" (they will sometimes say Etobicoke but not as often as Scarborough) Biased BS.

what schedule. Wtf are you talking about?

you are either confused or full of $hit. 1- Firefighters have never been told to deal with domestic disputes. If you call 911 for a domestic dispute (or any other emergency) the dispatcher automatically sends police, fire and ambulance so you are correct that fire (along with police and ambulance) are dispatched to a domestic disturbance call. However fire and ambulance crews are not trained to secure any crime scenes. Whether is is a domestic dispute, an armed robbery, a gang shooting etc fire and ambulance are specifically trained not to enter the crime scene until the police have gone in and secured the scene. Going into a scene before police not only can put their lives in danger but it can contaminate a crime scene. 2- no fire fighter does traffic stops. It is not part of their job. Not only would their traffic tickets not hold up in court but it is hard to believe their union would even accept the responsibility of doing traffic stops (1- they don't have time and 2- they are not trained in it). Are you really trying to suggest you have seen a fire truck full of fire fighters running down the highway pulling over speeders? 3- all 911 calls are "classified" or at least withheld from the public because what is said on those calls is evidence that can be used in court. Also why do you think you even have the right to listen to the calls? You are a pathetic nobody so why do you feel so special that you need to listen to the calls? 4- firefighters didn't go into the house. The police went in. They clearly say it was police that went into the house. Not once did they even mention anything about fire fighters. That is why it was police officers and not fire fighters that were shot. Did you even watch this video? You don't seem to have a clue what you are talking about.

@brandanB80 we want people that are realistic in what their labour is worth not a union that holds an employer hostage and forces them to overpay for their labour. If you put out an ad for a bus driver for anything less then what these people make now and there are other people willing to do that job at that lower hourly rate then these people should not be employed in that job and the job should go to the person willing to work for less. People should have jobs but at the market rate....not at a rate a union holds a company hostage for.
6
wtf you babbling about?
6
thank gawd it wasn't a classy place like Kentucky Fried Chicken.
6
seems like Trump didn't get that message.
6
you sound like a little drama queen.
6
the reporter says three young males several times and the title of the video says three youths...how is that confusing?
6
I agree he shouldn't be given day parole but you have to be a pretty small man to be afraid of a weak old 74 year man.
6
what does your racist comment have anything to do with this video?
6
@fortytwo244 only if you are part of the TTC union. For the rest of us taxpayers it is bad and a waste of our money.

Another way the Leafs owners can bilk their fans out of money. Maybe focus on putting a winning team on the ice and winning a Stanley Cup. Leafs fans can start saying their motto now--- "There is always next year"
6
@jumbome7420 I am Canadian born and raised here and I don't support the liberals. Not sure how you jumped to your unfounded conclusions.
6
@BATDAN_92 for now.
6
the building may be falling apart but they are offering to repair it so it doesn't fall apart. Why spend hundreds of millions building a new building when you can spend a few million fixing the existing building.
6
There is a Taco Bell just up the road from this street.....maybe he made one too many visits there.
6
Who cares? The Leafs have been hiring and firing coaches along with trading players for the last 50 plus years with the same results. The problem with the Leafs are the fans. The owners see the team as an investment to make money not as a hockey team to win Stanley Cups. When fans still show up and buy tickets, jerseys and other Leafs garbage the owners have no incentive to put a winning team on the ice. At least Harold Ballard was honest when he said "why should I put a winning team on the ice when people still show up to the arena." Until the fans change there will never be any real change to the Leafs and Toronto will never see another Stanley Cup. Instead of blaming management, the coach or the players start looking at yourselves and blame yourselves for putting up with the BS. If any other business (resturuant, store etc) gave you garbage service for 50 plus years you wouldn't be shopping there. Yet every year people show up to watch the Leafs garbage and believe all the BS the owners tell you ("we are rebuilding") But until you face reality you can keep spewing out your standard little motto "nExT yEaR wIlL bE tHe YeAr"

I am calling bull$hit.

this is Canada. Not common here.
5
@DjWellDressedMan Yes I DO live in the city. However how is that relevant?
5
there is a difference between outside conflicts between other nations and inclusivity for people living inside Canada.
5
wtf are you babbling about?

Tire chains damage the roads. In Ontario most of us are smart enough to not drive during the snow and just wait half a day or a day for road crews to clear the roads. In Ontario we actually clear the roads.

I used to agree with you however when inflation is 3% or more over the last few years (now down to around 2.5%) but wage increases are only 1% then it is time someone stands up and demands better pay. I am fully on board with capitalism and a company's right to make a profit etc. But workers are part of the company that help make that profit. They do deserve part of the profit through a wage increase that at least keeps pace with inflation. It all depends on what the union is asking for. For example I believe the Teachers Union was asking for something like a 12% increase when inflation was at only around 3%. That was a bit excessive. But if this union is asking for a 3 or 4% increase that seems in line with cost of living. Also depends on what the company is making. If the company is losing money badly then they are not in a position to give a wage increase. However if profits are up far more then inflation is up but the company is offering less then inflation wage increase (example if profits is up 10% while inflation is at 3% but they are only offering 1% increase) then that become corporate greed. Need more information on what the union is asking for and what position or profit etc the company is in.

Huh now Mississauga knows how Toronto feels transferring everything to other Ontario cities and to the province that is then transferred to other provinces.

going back home with their tail between their legs after another failed "demonstration"

I am guessing you are missing the irony of your comment on YouTube- I am guessing you would also post the same comment if it popped up on your Facebook page

Gun violence has been going on since the invention of the gun. I don't support Trudeau or Singh but not everything is political. You sound like an angry little racist drama queen.
5
@darrylhubbard931 trucks from all over North America travel along the 401. How are you coming to the conclusion they were from Brampton?
5
Brimley and Eglinton.
5
There is a difference between climate and weather. But if you want to try and use weather as a base then going back several decades at this time of year Toronto would have been under 2-3ft of snow and facing minus 20 or more temperatures. This year has been little to no snow and temperatures have been above freezing...almost like it is warmer.

TTC assistant-- "sir we are way behind schedule and way over budget on the Eglinton LRT. We need to finish off the Finch LRT. We should look into the progress and budget on the new Ontario express line. And we still need to watch the expenses and upgrades to our aging bus fleet and subways." TTC execs-- "nah....we got bigger problems to worry about....we got seagulls"

I used to see Shaq in every commercial promoting everything....I always thought that he must have lost investments with a guy like Bernie Mac so he had to do all these commercials. I didn't think things go so low for him that he had to start pimping out autistic kids.
5
Maybe they should call in the army.

@wqv5423ln doubtful the average Canadian can go out on the streets and find a gun within four hours. And guns smuggled in from the US proves that strict laws does work. You sound foolish
