  16. I thought Cars like this and others in its price band would be about comfort, waft ability and so on, not how fast, and let’s face , in today’s traffic, top speed is about 40mph.....?😎

It’s not any more awkward looking than the other Brands it’s going up against, it’s more how it performs, the interior is where design for all is going so I’m not that bothered,and something this size shouldn’t be about how fast it is,that’s not BMW or brands fault, it’s the future buyers who want this silly performance and the price isn’t that out there compared to the others.

If I was paying £158,000 I’d want better materials around the controls, the black around the buttons look Ford cheap, or being cynical, is there a cost option to change them?, don’t get me wrong , I like the look of the car,especially in Red, not sure about the Honey brown leather inside,definitely don’t like the Blue over white interior I’ve seen on other pages ( Ford again!) , and yes, if I had the wealth , I’d probably buy something like this, as opposed to some who troll because they can’t.

  24. So Game about the Dash though?, it’s got the same hard dull plastic as my Wife’s Ibiza, for your £36K you’d expect better, maybe some soft touch surfaces on the top of the Dash.

  26. I guess what stones it up is, they both do just about the same thing give or take,so, if your minted you'd buy the Merc because it's a bit more special inside a bit more up to date,whereas the GTR is what we'd call old School if you like,either way your getting just about the same.

Drove the manual version of this very Car and it was awful, lets me clarify that,it wasn't the 2017 Car it was a two year old,had 45K under it's wheels and the gearbox was rubbish,it felt so baggy,vague, I was disappointed, this was the Car I promised myself one Day I'd drive one!, well I have, and it wasn't good.

How often do you see one...?, unless you live in a City you’ll be lucky to see one anywhere else, and when you do see one you turn and look, it’s not about ho w it goes how it feels it’s just a nice place to be sitting enjoying the noise of the engine, maybe it’s just me but when I jump in the Car I don’t think let’s max it!😎, and eighty grand....not a lot of money for its perceived one Car better looks.

I’m currently driving a two litre petrol and it is fast enough for day to day driving, I’m no hooligan with it but it can be husseled and show up some bigger more powerful cars, torque seems to be available wherever when ever in any gear, it’s ok on fuel(42-44), the new one looks to be following on with an even better performance across the board, what’s not to like...?

All about the style, it much mechanical stuff either,in fact if it wasn’t for a nod towards the older DS ,the Camera controlled suspension is the only intriguing thing about it, the interior is over styled, nice materials used,but just a bit as if the designer kept fiddling with it and overdone ,but that’s just my opinion.

Nobody so far has commented on those square panels set into the side Windows, why?, why are they there?,and another thing, why when the review a Car do they not do it on a poverty spec Vehicle, I wouldn’t think a Farmer anyone who uses it for the purposes it was designed for would want a premium interior?!

  50. Not a fan of the interior, it’s all angles, functional I sure, but, it’s not nice to look at,and ultimately, it’s another Audi, Audi really need a shape change like when the TT first came out.
