I also feel that while Metatron's work is generally positive, he tends to use the same identity politics card to make a point, emphasizing his "Mediterranean" or Sicilian background as if it were a suitable middle ground between "blondes" and "blacks" (or whatever) as a racial categorization: which is painful enough, especially having a basic idea of what Italians themselves actually look like. This aligns with Schwerpunkt's channel theme which suggests that we should recognize that being born in a particular place does not necessarily equate to a deep understanding, competence, or expertise in local history. Schwerpunkt's videos, including this one, truly exemplify the superior quality of historical content on the platform and highlight the stark class divide.

Those youtube channels claiming to cite "every" source are among the worst ones: first of all they actually don't, secondly they don't know how to and third they don't actually seem to know or explain anything about the actual topic. The more skeptical the more relativistic, Schwerpunkt shines both for competence and historical objectivity and I wouldn't trade it for any content on the platform. People earn their trust and that doesn't come without studying thoroughly the entire content
